Not that hard to fake weigh-ins... maybe if they did it before every show/shoot it would be an issue. If it was like a one-time weigh-in or every few months or something, you could easily just drink a fuckton of water beforehand, wear heavy clothes or weights in your clothes, eat a lot of food. Sadly most of the women in my family are fat except for my mother. I just cant find fatties attractive. I can handle chubby, but not morbidly obese. I don't know if we could have anti-obesity ads the way we have anti-smoking ads, for political reasons. I can't imagine a campaign telling viewers that people on Tinder are more likely to swipe left for fat people. Feminism and HAES have too much influence in the US, something like that would receive a ton of backlash.

As far as the video is concerned, the only factor his weight has on the subject is that it means that he cannot wield the blade as proficiently as he could if he was actually in any kind of shape.
If he was trying to argue that he was in good shape, then he should get chewed out for it. Otherwise people should more or less live and let live. As much as it hurts to say it, that's all we can really do.
Now, if you were a friend of his, then I would say get on his ass about it, but that's another story entirely. Point is that a person's weight is a personal matter and that's exactly how it should stay unless the subjects of health and fitness are relevant to the current conversation.
