>jog for 40 mins on treadmill at 6 km an hour
>treadmill calculates I've burned over 1000 calories
Seriously, what algorithm are they using, who do they think they're fooling, and how is that moral?
calories are work , and maybe its calculated for how fast is moving rolling
>>35276419
They calculate the calories from the distance and time with an intern fixed value. Some models have handles to measure your heartbeat and are therefore more accurate.
You probably used a US model which was configured for US persons (fatasses) that's why the measurement is so high
>>35276419
They are just best guesses for people your height and weight. They are completely based on empirical models and are usually not exactly good estimations, as they don't have enough information. If you had pulse and whatnot, you'd have better models.
>>35276449
By far most of the energy you produce goes into lifting your body up and down, so that's not a good measure.
>>35276560
i mean the movement that the treadmill does by itself cost energy (watts i think?) and that same energy the machine use for the movement can be converted to calories
6km/h is a brisk walk though.
>>35276419
it's plausible... if you're a 350lbs fatass
>>35276419
Damn, how do I into American Psycho mode? Jesus christ I never appreciated how built/ripped he was in this.

Angles, lighting, possible pump and probably some drugs.
>>35276652
Literally no
Next you're gonna tell us you can calculate your calories using your power bill

Srs question, has he claimed he is natty?
>>35277286
>>35277286
greg is such a beast. love seeing him blow up
>>35277369
id say he is natty. he looks pretty similar now to the way he does there. dude's just cracked it desu senpai
>>35277093
you never paid attention in physics do you?
>>35276419
How tall are you? I walk at a pace of 6 km/h
>>35276419
what kind of arm workouts for this?
>>35277605
The energy you put into the treadmill is just a fraction of the energy you actually use. Most of the energy you burn while running goes into the work you put into lifting your body up and down with every step.
>>35277286
>>35277393
such a beast... yeah a 5'10 170lbs beast
>>35278575
check em 1xF
>>35276419
> treadmill
no different than weight machines. It's not the same on your muscles, and not as good of a workout. If you're gonna run, run outside.
It it's too shitty out, swim instead.
>>35277605
LOL you were being serious
>>35278674
looks better than u :)

>6 km an hour
>jog
that's a fucking walk
I jogged for 30mins at 10.3kph today, and had 10 mins of walking
