Is going from a 450 to a 700lb deadlift a reasonable 5-year goal?
>>

Maybe. Maybe not.

We don't know shit about where you're at and where you're going. Some people will work their way to elite numbers without too much struggle, others will sweat and bleed without ever getting close.

You might not even hit 550. Youll be lucky if you hit 600 without the juice.
>>
>>35268849
If it's any indicator, I made it to 450 in about a year and I have above average test levels.
>>
>>35268831
at what bodyweight? that's what it comes down to. if you're willing to go up to 240 and you're not a complete lanklet then yeah totally
>>
>>35268881
i made it to about 450 in a year of training. it's been another year and now my 1rm is 545. I'm just about 200 lbs now, I know in 5 years and with a bit more bodyweight I could pull 700.
>>
>>35268892

How tall are you?
>>
>>35268881
I'm 6'2'' 220lbs, 16% BF
>>

>>35268898
I'm 6'1 200lbs probably about 12-13%

but deadlift is my niche. my squat is okay at 434 and my bench is shit, in competition paused it was 243
>>

>>35268956

In both cases, probably gonna need to be a fair bit heavier to break 700 at that height.
>>
>>35268965
Yeah no kidding. But I'm only 20 so I'm taking it really slowly. I don't wanna fuck my shit up and I'm just trying to bulk slow
>>
If isley can DL 700 so can anyone else on fit.
>>
If you weigh under 200lbs it might take you 2 years but it would only take 5 years if you weigh under 135 and aren't willing to use gear. I weigh 275 and I do sets of 700 no belt. Just started lifting for the first time in August of last year and couldn't even do 400 then.

Yes for a genetic outlier, and that's if they do everything right (east/sleep/programming).
