How important is a good night's sleep, fit? I have to get up at 5:45-ish every morning, so to get 8 hours like everyone seems to suggest I'd have to go to bed at 9:45, which honestly feels like I'd be wasting a good chunk of my evening. (I enjoy watching stuff on my phone as I fall asleep but that often keeps me up to at least 11.)

Is a lack of sleep really gonna result in nogainz and messed up metabolism, even though I feel fine upon waking up with my current schedule (no energy drinks, coffee, etc. necessary)?

Shhh, Aniki is sleeping

Yes.
Sleep is when the gains will be installed.
If you deny yourself full installation and reboot time, you're gonna have a bad time.

>don't have to 8hours every night, but you are jewing yourself if you sub6 frequently
>>
you can always play on your dumbphone any other time of the day.
Your sleep is paramount, do what's best for you and your gains.

thanks bros, I now know that I must put the integrity of my gains above all else
>>
I used to get around 4 hours sleep a night and wondered why my lifts weren't going up. Forced myself to get into the habit of getting at least 7 hours and broke a 3 week stall on ohp.

>sleep is often the forgotten part of making it
>>
Not op but how many hours of sleep do you need to make good gains? And does it have to be uninterrupted? Do 2 hour naps also count?

6-7 hours as an adult, if you're around or under 21 you may need more. This is a swag as it does vary by person. Naps are better than nothing but not the same as a good night's sleep.

I have shitty sleep problems.
been taking melatonin every night for the past 14 days and I've been sleeping pretty good.

only down side is it takes me fucking ages to wake up like 30 minutes where as before i could wake up get out of bed and be eating breakfast within 5 minutes.
>>
8-10 hours of sleep is ideal.
>>
I get at least 8 hours every night. Ideally I like to have 10. I usually go to be at 11pm and wake up around 7am.
