I was pretty slim, it was only a matter off adding muscle and the noob gains did the job of dropping the fat.

That's a weird file name.

And...it's not that hard at all. It takes like 6-8 weeks if you're willing to do cardio and really get strict about nutrition. The challenge is keeping muscle while you're cutting. That could take a natty anywhere from 4-5 months since you can't deprive yourself without losing tons of size.

Literally nonsensical. One of the worst excuses I've ever heard. The Hodge Twins used to say the same thing before they discovered IF. And the thing about IF is that it mainly works because you just eat less food.

Yea but you don't have to get to 8-10, make it 10-12.

Your TDEE is far lower than 27-2800 unless you have an extremely active job. More like 24-2500.

You can cut on a 750 deficit no problem at your beginner stage and still make gains, so aim for 1600 calories per day and start doing intermittent fasting and lift 3-4 days per week.
Aim to get 120-130 grams of protein.


Don't go heavy on any lifts more than twice per week.

You'll make gains.

I'm actually in the same boat as you. I've been in limbo for a very long time. Once I got to to 15% bf It's been so hard to cut further, I think I reached 13% bf, but got so much frustrated at my weak lifts that I started doing recomp.

I may have to adjust since I think I accidentally bulked, since I gain weight, some are muscles and some are fat.

You don't need 160g of protein--even on a cut--unless you're 320 lb of muscle.

Most people are overpaying for protein in any form, and this includes whey, which is dirt cheap compared to most cuts of meat.

What you want are BCAAs. Jason Blahahaha the autistic wonder made a decent video about this--how people are overpaying for protein when the part of protein they actually need and use is the BCAAs, which are super cheap and super low in calories. Too lazy to find it for you but he made sense for once. Search YouTube.

Took 3 months of *very* strict IF to go from 15 to 10. I was paranoid about losing lean bodymass so I kept a deficit of 1/2 lb per week.

Felt amazing to be there, though. Currently ~14% on a permabulk. See you at 18%.

I am already on a caloric deficit of 60%, often just get up in the night because of hunger, barely keeping myself above starvation level.

But this still isnt fast enough, so I read about the ice pack treatment. Apparently it works with others, but anyone has tried it?

Guys, how hard is it ACTUALLY to keep muscles?

I feel like it's really easy but I want to really push the calories to make it go faster

also I hate lifting during a cut, if I do 6 excersises รก 4 sets on a bulk, would 2 sets be enough or do I HAVE to do 3 to not lose muscles?
