No, I stretch out with the 25 on the bar so I can get my ass down to the floor, then add outside up to whatever I'm aiming for. Saves moving a couple of plates. Reason I ask is that I did this just recently and always used to use a pussy pad. Even 20kg it fucking hurt like hell and there was no way I could stand the pain.

So naturally when I bought an Oly BB I got a pussy pad, but decided to try without it. That extra 1-2mm thickness or whatever it is makes the world of difference I couldn't believe it. You should try it.
