how do i avoid getting ingrown hairs when shaving with one of these?
I could just shave by hand but I'm very allergic to shaving gel, just using water works fine but it takes too much time.
by a trimmer and trim your beard to the closest it goes
you wont have a completely clean shave but it wont give you any skin irritation or ingrown hairs

but i look like shit with short facial hair like that, i have blonde facial hair
There's a trimmer on the back, right? Make sure to trim everything down as best as you can before moving on to the shaving head

there is no trimmer on the back, but i have a separate one. I'll try to be more through with the trimmer before shaving from now on.
Some people say that one of these "bar" shaped razors (pic related) will result in less ingrown hairs, what do you think about that
pls respond

Straight razor, use a legit shave cream instead of those foams or gels
>>35145883
those three circle shavers are shit
just use a razor why do you need gel

Don't hop straight into straight razor. If it's your first time wet shaving you'll probably cut the shit out of yourself
Try a double edge safety razor and an unscented shave soap+brush. Brush helps exfoliate and reduce potential for ingrowns. The soaps are really mild and have high glycerin percentages to aid with the razor sliding smoothly.
Protip: you get to feel like james bond every time you shave in the morning

Try a more natutal shaving cream like Aveeno, it's oats based. And we love oats on /fit :)

Just don't shave
