after a series of debilitating injuries from squatting i finally
admitted that i just wasnt built for it. some people
have hip angles and whatnot that just dont make for
happy squatters.

some people cant accept this and will be cripples before they leave their 30s. we have warned them, but they will just never learn.

Why work on your form so that you can make a dangerous exercise less dangerous, when you can just switch to an exercise that isn't dangerous at all? There's nothing magic about squats, you don't need to do them. Split squats and lunges train the same muscles; progressively get stronger at those and your lower body will grow fine.

I think 6.5 non-bone pressed might be "big", as hard as that might be to imagine.

A 5.7 (about average) compared with a 6.5 is about the same ratio as a 5'8 man compared with 6'6, it's a more than noticeable difference even if it's "only" less than an inch.
