Need shoes on account that mine literally got stolen by some guy at the gym. I'm already buying new shoes however since my old ones were not ideal for the gym.

I know this might seem like blasphemy but if you're interested in oly shoes, see if there's a crossfit store near you. Chances are they have some Reebok shoes with a heal and you can see how it feels to do some body weight squats. Also if you live near a big Adidas store they might have their oly shoes (I know the one in NYC carries the powerlifts and the adipowers)
For flats: chucks, wrestling shoes, or Mark Bell clown shoes (crossfit lite tr). If you want something cheap and multipurpose I suggest chucks from a converse outlet (got a pair for 11 usd while they were on sale). I use Mark Bell's shoes without the insoles and they're pretty good for sumo DL, but otherwise they seem like a waste to be honest. Some guy at my gym loves his asics matflex (wrestling shoes).
I just got a pair of Nike Romaleos II, which are fantastic squat shoes. They were a godsend for me, since the Adipowers I had were a bit tight around the toes. Would definitely recommend them, even if the price might be a bit steep.
To be honest family, I've been using my Adidas powerlifters 2.0 for about half a year now theyve done me well. They were on for a good sale this weekend on black Friday, probably around 40% so you just missed your chance.
