I use the leg press to try and improve my ankle flexion, I put up about 135lbs, push it all the way out, then put the ball of my left foot at the bottom of the board, and remove the right foot from the board entirely, so all the weight is forcing my ankle to become more stretchy, so I can squat better, then I repeat with my right foot

Only use machines. Free weights will unbalance your body. As a personal trainer I always recommend the machines first with some light free weights thrown in to surprise the muscles.

I really like cables, I also like leg presses, and chest supported row machines. There's also nothing wrong with leg curls/leg extensions in the right content. I have also used triceps (and even bicep) machines before, but not anymore.

it does, the lever is set up so dyels and mongs can use more weight.
then they do pullups and wonder why they cant do a single one, altough they can pull 225 on this shit machine.

Our gym has these terminals to which you walk up with your chipcard and load your current trainingsplan onto.

Each machine has a slot to put in your card.
An LCD display will tell you how much sets, reps, weigth.
For someone with the memory of a brick like me this is fucking fantastic.
It's like someone following me around saying "ok fag now do 3 sets on this one".

I use the leg press because I have great legs. Usually do it for my last of my legday workout to exhaust myself.

I use cable machines for rows, crosses, and some biceps and trisceps workout.

And lat pulldown machine too

There's nothing wrong with machines as long as they arent the entirety of your workout

Hack squats are often done with a stance that is narrower than it would be for a deadlift. The fact that she's doing it with a machine removed the need to self-balance. So it should work quite nicely with a very narrow stance.

I have to use the leg press machine, because my knees were royally fucked up when I was a teenager, because I lived in a hick town where my coaches didn't know shit about nutrition or over training.

Honestly I still get pissed about it. Would really like to go back in time and rescue myself from all the shit.

We have one at the works gym too. It's a great accessory for squats.

I've used the curls and extension machine once and the hack squat machine a few times, apart from that it's always been freeweights.
