What limits muscle growth? Why does the body stop putting on mass?
>>
>>35062204
You become too big a guy for you.
>>
>>35062204

because your body doesn't "care" about big aesthetic muscles
>>
that's just the way God made us.

>the christian god not your wannabe god
>>
>>35062204
There is actually something, and it's genetic, but realistically, probably 1% of lifters reach it. Most people won't know the natty limit because they think even 2 years or even less is enough to reach it
>>
>>35062210
this is the finest baneposting i have ever seen.
>>
Probably because your body cant supply enough blood to all the muscles

>this is what religitards believe

no, but it gets you to the point where you can only pack on like 1lb of muscle a year.

raindrops in a barrel at that point, if you want to noticeably get bigger you need some gear.
>>
Natty limit is reached when your body is able to maintain mass and physical changes easily based on a minimum of effort on it's part.

And those changes won't shorten the lifespan and long term well being of the person in question.

I mean, it's a scientific fact that what we think of as morbily obese, something that is easy to become nowadays, was completely and utterly IMPOSSIBLE back in the 1800's unless they had a serious medical condition.
Fucks sake, people we consider MERELY obese today were considred horrifying side show monsters back then.

It's also a scientific fact that becoming to slim is 100% unhealthy and having some fat on you protects you from so many diseases as well as lengthens your life and improves quality of life and improves sexual function.

Now once you realize that the unltimate goal of exercise is health and a level of fitness that makes it easier to live your day to day life better then you should realize that the mere notion of a Natty limit is stupid bullshit created only to push totally unhealthy things on brainwashed noobs

Myostatin. Your body isn't supposed to just keep growing and growing, eventually you'll become inefficient and starve to death in a real world scenario where you don't have a fridge full of food.

Would it be possible to hit 280 at 20 percent bf with good genetics natty? Pic unrelated
>>
>>35062313
Fat doesn't protect against diseases. What the fuck are you smoking?

Just like fat people aren't stronger.
>>
>>35062485

Not unless you're really damned tall.

Is there any actual way to lower Myostatin?
>>
>>35062204

myostatin
>>
>>35062485
Yes, but only if you litterally have big bones and damned good natural test production.

The muscle of the guy in that pic?
Isn't going to happen unless you're a 1 in a million freak of nature and lived a highly active life and did nothing but move heavy shit and eat perfectly.
>>
>>35062674

The guy in that pic is already a one in a million freak of nature doing exactly that, plus a hell of a lot of drugs. You'll never be 300+ with abs without plenty of gear.
>>
>>35062590
Be born with low myostatin.
>>
>>35062696
Marius pudzianowski trains for strength not size and is like 10 percent bf in that photo
>>
>>35062224

>being big
>being aesthetic

Pick 1
>>
>>35062254
Then you're a fucking twat
>>
>>35062204

There is no "natty limit" unless you are a genetic freak or something. You keep making gains until you are losing gains due to old age.
>>
>>35062494
true, but it's good to have some reserves when you're puking your guts out when sick.
>>
>>35062313
are you retarded

this is true when referring to people with 15% bf being healthier than people with <5% bf. not when talking about morbidly obese people against gym-goers.

pro-tip: if morbid is in the title, its not good for you. stop stuffing your fucking gluttonous face and acting like its healthier than exercise.
>>
>>35062590
There's an experimental drug that is being developed. Don't have the source Google it, should come up easily. In mice it increases muscle mass by something stupid like 30%+

There something else about it, it increase the amount of muscle cells, not their size (hypertrophy)
