I don't know I'm good at it, just boring though.

It's actually the deadlift, because I enjoy having a functioning lower back.
The Press>bench press>squat>deadlifft.
I don't do any of them though.
>>
Probably the preacher curl cuz I can't stand isolation exercises

because it moves the weight the shortest distance, it has the shortest kinetic chain, it activates the least muscle mass and moves the least of my body. it is the least applicable to real life situation, it is arguably the only lift where you need a spotter.

its just not a very good lift.

Because I need a spotter and my progress on it is shit.

Doesn't help that everyone in my gym can press my max for reps, atleast they're struggling some 20 kgs away from my rows and have one of the biggest deadlifts with lmao2plate which I do once in a blue moon.

The Fucking Press

1) because it feels unnatural, >>35052481 summed it up pretty well except his first point which is wrong if you have lanky arms and a thin ribcage.
2) there is no such thing as "big 4", stop this meme. It's "big 3", it refers to PLing and it doesn't include OHP. That's like saying you joined the 1k pound club if yoy include seated calf raises. If you want to refer to a strength training program like SS, you should include PCs too. And then someone will talk about the "big 7", including chins and dips and it's a slippery slope from there. Just because a (now dead) site used to have them for progress measurement doesn't mean they qualify as "big 4".
And I'm not even a PLer.

i can see how it could be thought to have a rom that is equal to the distance from the shoulder joint to the palm, thus it would be equal to the press. it however doesn't if you even bridge a little when benching, and since a normal bench grip is wider than the press grip. what were you thinking when you were writing this?

its because it the most exhausting exercise of them all, after doing reps im all wet, this doesnt happen on other lifts, also im angry that i cant squat more than 100kg

Squats. Hate doing em. I always feel like I'm gonna tip over when I get past 275lb.
Working on front squats now for posture work, I like em better because it forces you to keep form

That it doesn't "feel" short. I'm with you, bench pres is awkward and everything but not because the ROM is short (for me at least)

oh now i see. when i said "the shortest distance" what i meant was the shortest out of the press, bp, dl and squat. i too have very long arms in relation to the rest of my body.

>what is your least favorite Big 4 lift and why is it Bench Press?

i'm 6'5 with a nearly 6'11 wingspan and it's the ONLY lift i've ever been injured doing. mainly the latter. i don't suck at it, but it's definitely the one i enjoy the least.

OHP > squat = deadlift > bench press with regards to how much i enjoy each.

Damn. I started doing squats a few weeks back and I'm at 1.5plate, ripped guys doing 5kgs more then me whilst wearing belts. Shit doesn't make sense.

Wish I was at a big guy gym but my gym is dirt cheap, 18 euro's a month.
>>
>>35052786
i guess im strong compared to those who are in the dumbell and machine sections. the powerlifting part of the gym though... everyone there is big as fuck

ATTENTION EVERYONE
THIS IS THE OBJECTIVE OFFICIAL RANKING

Press > Deadlift > Squat > Bench

Press
>it's easy to outlift normies with it
>very low chance of injury
>it's mainly upper body, so no t-rex

Deadlift
>exhausting, but not as bad as squats
>some chance of injury, but as long as you don't lift more than you can handle, you'll be fine

>works the core the most out of the big 4 lifts
>it's the manliest lift

Squat
>it's easy to outlift normies with it
>it gives you flexible shoulders

>makes you feel like death after every set
>you need to be decently flexible to get a good ROM
>my knees make a spooky sound if I don't lean really far back
>chance of t-rex

Bench
>high chance of injury, even on warmup sets
>it literally kills you if you fail without safety bars
>>
