Guise, does anything bad happen if i lift everyday? Coz every routines i read suggest like 3 times a week. Does lifting erryday have any adverse effects on my gains/strength/size?

>Does lifting erryday have any adverse effects on my gains

Yes. The effect on your gains is you won't make any because you're not giving you body the time to recover.
>>
>>34987808
>Giving yourself less than 24 hours to recover

Mang, you better hold on to that ticket stub on your way to snap city.
>>
>>34987834
Niggadaumus that's why you do day A and day B lmao
>>
>>34987815
PPLPPLx gives you 48 hours rest before you hit each part again
>>
>>34987808
hyey op the people replying before me already covered it but just so it's clear as can be: you don't make any fucking gains when you lift. Your gains come when you REST motherfucker. About 5 days a week is the upper limit and even then if you're working full time or going to school you probably don't have enough free time to get the rest you need.
>>
If you're lifting right, you won't be able to lift everyday.

Just TRY to put 110% in every single day, and still bump the weight up every week. You can't do it. So as much as we want to, the best we can do is everything in our power to speed our recovery on our off days, and work on our cardio.
>>
>>34987808
Damn thoes are some clean welds there OP

Look, you country-fried son of a bitch; all I'm saying is, "lifting impacts the body in a way in which we must take a day or two to recuperate ourselves without any variable, or invariable, stressors."

It's like people WANT to visit Snap City these days.
>>
> Tfw you just randomly forget how to sleep.
I can feel my gains going away. Just end my life.

"There is not such thing as overexercise. There is only undereating."

Raise your protein intake up to 200g. Modern Humans eat like pussies, 50g a day? What the fuck is this, that is not even 2kg of muscle in 100 days.

Just look at cows, they grow in 2 years. I have done the math, cows are eating around 600 g of protein MINIMUM a day.
>>
So cardio is ok on a rest day??
>>
>>34988008

yes
>>
>>34987808
those programs assume that a person has other things to do like work, study etc. but since you have no life, you can do a program with daily workouts.
>>
>>34988008
>cardio
No, try intermittent sprints. No animal is built for cardio, cardio is a mental disease.
>>
>>34987808
I would train max 6 times a week. It's totally possible and you can have gains if you eat well enough and supplement like you should. Of course, don't do this if you're a DYEL.
>>
>>34988046
I'm built for you
>>
>>34987961
download apps for your phone and laptop that filter out the blue light. for android phones: twilight, for your laptop: flux.

increased my sleep quality massively.
>>
I had the best results when I trained 6 days a week (PPLPPLX)
>>
>>34988046
Humans are actually built for cardio. Prehistoric humans were endurance hunters.

How much grass should I be eating to maximise cow gains?
>>
>>34987843
72 hours isn't it? Push-24h-pull-48h-legs-72h-push
>>
>>34987808
No, provided you spread out your volume accordingly. Most people on here know next to nothing about lifting.

That said, probably not a good idea for you because you seem equally clueless.
>>
>>34988071
even if you use your phone/tv/computer 1-2hr before going to bed it will decrease sleep quality, because it fucks up your melatonin production.

i did this squat everyday thing when i had lots of free time. in 66 days ive gained 48kg on my squat max. when i reduced frequency and intensity to sane levels i started losing strength. it definitely works but not sure if it was worth it

Alright, I'll try to not play videogames until 23:00.
I had a creeping suspicion that that could be fucking my sleep.

I came here with the same question because my brother was a dumbass doing full body every day.

He cites some author who says muscle recovery doesn't need rest or at least only 24 hours. I forgot the authors name because I completely ignored what the book was. Didn't even bother to read it.

Can someone help find it and counter the points in there? Its on Amazon well rated too by crossfitters lol.
>>
Your muscles grow when you rest after lifting.
>>
Some clean ass dime stacks bro, that TIG?

Yea bro.

Thanks all for advices. Im DYEL on gomad so I'm just gonna go with 3 days a week lifting.
>>
>>34987989
I think Pianoman said it best, if you're getting proper nutrition and sleeping sufficiently every night there is no such thing as overtraining.
>>
>>34988489
he also specifically said it's only true if you're on steroids.
>>
>>34988458
Damn also some nice weaves, just started studying welding at my school. Nothing I'm doing looks this nice yet but everyone tells me no one starts off a pro.

>No, try intermittent sprints. No animal is built for cardio, cardio is a mental disease.

Fucking this. If you aren't doing wind sprints you're doing it wrong
>>
Best way to find out is to try it. I've made killer gains doing clean and press everyday.

After a while you'll burn out and hit a wall, so then recuperate and fall back on 48hrs rest for awhile.
>>
>>34988083
There is very little convincing evidence for that. Endurance hunting is the most wasteful and dangerous way to hunt. Sure the animal would collapse before the human, but you're probably pretty fucking thirsty by then as well. Where is the closest water source? Durr you don't know you just followed the animal. Fucking suicide.

And no you don't have water with you because this is 2million years ago and you're a monkey and you don't know leathercrafting. If you did you'd make a bow and not a waterskin, since you wouldn't have to leave the water source if you had a bow.
