Does weightlifting or cardio burn more fat? What about HIIT cardio vs HIIT weightlifting, or a combination of the two.
This is assuming the subject is eating the proper diet to get the best results.

even fatties can run a 10 min/mi (and prob burn more than 90 kcal)
90 kcal/mi * 6 mi/hr = 540 kcal/hr

Lyle Mcdonald did some work on this. You need cardio to lose fat once you're down to the stubborn fat. HIIT is absolutely king. I've lost fat faster with HIIT than anything else while remaining the same deficit.
