>Doing side laterals after heavy squat session
>New guy i havent seen before sits on the bench next to me
>Does skull crushers
>Ask him what his deadlift, squat and bench is
>"I dont squat or deadlift"
god dammit is it me or is it just not possible to make friends these days?
Shut your mouth and lift, stop interrupting people's workouts, woman.

>making friends
>in a gym
>a place to workout
it's not a fucking social hub you mong
>Ask him what his deadlift, squat and bench is
>god dammit is it me or is it just not possible to make friends these days?
>is it me
Yes. That's an awful opening line.

>Doing skullcrushers
>Some guy is doing lateral after squatting heavy
>Approaches me after my set
>"Hey d-dude, do y-you squat or d-deadlift?"
>Who is this guy? Lie to him so he doesnt talk longer
>"No I dont"
>He leaves
Honestly deadlifting is a waste of time unless you plan on competing in PL.

Or think lifting heavy things is fun.

I know a lot of buffed guys that don't squat nor lift. Some had some injuries and avoid them for that, some others just get results without them. Not everyone cares about strenght, some only care about looks and you can get a nice body without squats and deadlift.
Just grow up and understand that not everybody has to be like you.
And for the record, I do squat and deadlift.

kind of a weird way to introduce yourself. If he's a new guy why would you ask him for his maxes? it's like you're trying to compare yourself to him and show off or sth..
>at the gym
>minding my own business
>doing some skull crushers
>some small dude next to me is staring at me
>finish set
>dude mumbles something
>sorry, what mate?
>h-how much do you squat bench and d-deadlift?
>tell him my bench and that i dont squat or deadlift
>he gives me a weird look
>quickly finish last set and move elsewhere
