It's when people "cross" two or more seperate exercises into one big clusterfuck, to confuse the muscles or some bullshit. Like jump roping power cleans or kettlebell backflips, it really confuses the shit out of those muscles.
Well you see when you work out your muscles all get together and decide not to get bigger or stronger. What crossfit does is confuse the muscles into getting bigger and stronger.
