Does fit have a bike?

I was thinking of getting one and been looking on the net for a road bike but haven't decided for anything as of yet. What bike do you have and how does it /fit/ into your lifestyle? Does it kill gains?
>>
i have a road bike i don't use. too cold here nowhere to cycle

i drive to work and run on a tredmill
>>
>>34954716
I used to road and mountain bike 4 days a week.
With moderate to intense effort and good form (not just pushing the pedals down, think pedaling in circles) get ready for some monster legs and juicy butt. Pants that fit well will be hard to find.
But you have to keep it up. Broke my leg and lost all my mojo to 3 surgeries and hardcore depression. But that's another story.
Get a bike.

Is it Canada? must feel bad man

I'd travel to a more cycle friendly weather if anything for a week or two to experience the road life

>monster legs and juicy butt
That's it mane. I'm definitely planning to get one

Sorry to hear about the injuries

American living in the DE here.
I ride a bike everywhere daily as I am a student and don't have a car. When I return to the States I want to keep this habit.
>>
>>34954716
I love ridding my bike, I just wish all the people in their card would stop yelling "faggot" at me when I do so. (I have a car too, cunt!) Anyway, 10/10 cardio, particularly if you can do by a river or lake.

Pretty nice but you should use clipless ledals

I did 4000km on this since the spring. It was so good for cutting
>>
>>34954716
I love riding my bike even in winter. Really good for cardio as well. I used to have like an 80 resting heartrate. Now its about 53. Feels good man

What would she look like with a shaved head, you think?
>>
yeah I have, I posted about biking here in the summer because I didn't lose too much weight with it - I was sent to hell because according to Fit Masterrace I don't cycle minimum 100 kms a week :)
>>
Bicyclists get smoked by cars in my city on a pretty regular basis. It's either ride in circles at a park or stick to residential roads, both of which seem boring as fuck.

This guy rode 500+ miles a week up mountains during training and tried to sty as light as possible. Of course this means they aren't huge, but imagine if this guy ate big and didn't ride up mountains all day.

who /BORISBIKE/ here?
>>
I have a bag of shit mountain bike that was abused and thrown out by a fat slob, so I adopted it and rehabilitated it back to bicycle shape. I am aware that it sucks a bowl of dicks and I should get a road bike, but I am not interested in being a cyclist. If I had an alternative method of transportation, I would use that instead of pedaling around my awful lumpy town of constant uphill downhill hell.

It burns some fat and builds quads and ass. Ass gains were minor for me because I started with zero ass.
>>
>>34954716
I have a cross bike with a rack
I commute with it 15 miles each way, 5 days a week
Since it takes more calories, I have to eat enough, but my gains have gone up probably because I'm forced to be more careful with my diet and general health. Also I shower at the gym where I lift. It's pretty convenient.
>>
I use my bike everyday (doing groceries, going to my gym, going to work) its fun and i have huge fucking legs
>>
>>34955732
how are they gonna rob you if you bike with full power? There's no stopping that
>>
>>34956947
Why do they shave their legs? Mirin hard never the less
>>
>>34958511
They might just be cheap or poor
Safe and comfy deep winter riding requires proper gear and good gear costs some.
Just a set of carbide tires, merino base layers, and lights that don't suck will set you out $250+ easily. Add a set of commuting clothes for every day of the week, and maybe good waterproof panniers for your winter office clothes, and you're out $500+

Sure you could cut corners but most people already see cycling as a pain in the ass. Shitty gear just makes matters worse.

It's easier to massage without hair and in case you fall down from your bike you can clean the wound easier and it will heal faster. Some also believe it reduces air resistance so you're 0.0000001% faster
>>
>>34958872
Fred in training here
It's for aero, and because road rash hurts less when there's not a matted carpet of blood and hair covering your wounds.
I haven't shaved yet but I've been slipping into Fredhood in the last year, it's only a matter of time...

Never a squat in my life... This is what biking does for your leg gains, not huge but they are there. Can't say the same for upper body. Legs 25 in, arms 12 inches in this pic. At 140lbs.
>>
I fell while biking to work today, didn't break anything but I still can't lift for a week to maybe a month. Bikes burgle your gains like nothing else.

cancer and chemo, atrophied a shitload from it. Went down to 100lbs, honestly almost died because of it. Took 3 years to build back to 140lbs
>>
I have a Giant hybrid bike I use to go to class on. It's pretty nice, I get enough fucking cardio at my job but I love biking. I'm looking to get a Giant Defy sometime soon so I can go further and enjoy the spring-summer riding.
