Close. Right offensive guard and defensive tackle growing up. I always skidded the weight limit in youth football and played those positions until after highschool.

Then I cut and bulked randomly and play inside linebacker in college in the 4-4 stack or mike for any other defense.

To a degree I had to stop lifting after a motorcycle accident I went from weighing 162 to 192 in 3 months when I started lifting again. On average gaining 10lbs of lean muscle mass is pretty normal but you're gonna get diminishing results the longer you've been lifting. That first year of consistent lifting yields the most results. After that it's slow and steady.

I was bulking the other times as well. I keep taking breaks for surgeries, and by the time I'd recover I'd be at poverty university with limited equipment and cafeteria plan. I'd coast on yoga, rock climbing, gymnastics, and basic bodyweights during the school year. Now I have my clean bulk foods and home gym where I can do barbell and bodyweight.

I earned the OAC while in poverty university and at home gym (two different times, and lost it two different times as well). This is better than the last clean bulk I did. Difference is the methodology.

Pretty great. I went from 167 to 171. Went to vegas and walked a marathons worth in 3 days. I ate as much as possible, sugary cocktails beer bulkin at a buffet. Burgers, white castle sliders.. Came back as 169 lbs and way more defined.

Good i guess. Gonna take a while to hit 180 though.

I will add, that I have done fasted training before, and if I don't get a headache it's a nice feeling.

I don't think it's always optimal, but it's nice for resetting how I feel while training.
I get a nice second wind from that kind of stuff. Fasts, wearing no shoes and only shorts in the snow, heat training, and stuff like that really makes me feel alive and powerful.

I did +1000 cal bulk and stayed lean for 10 lbs. The last three were rough though.

If you aren't huge yet, 500-750 will be pretty good. Make sure that they're at least halfway clean.

Alternatively what you can do is set weekly strength goals and tune your calories based on in gym performance.

For example let's say you're doing a progressive overload program like each week you increase reps or add weight over the previous week if you don't meet the goal you set for that week up your call intake and try again.
