I don't count macros so closely.
I simply controll my portions and try to use little oil. In the case of chicken tighs for example i will cook 8 of them with 1-2 tsp canola oil and then let the fat render out the meat.
I also trim all the visible fat, and take the skins off.
I have lost 14 lbs in the past 2 months dieting. But I love to cook, so I am not going to sacrifice a lot on flavor.
This was a little Calory dense meal, but i would have offset it with a lighter lunch etc.
For example yesterday i had a salmon seared fillet over a fresh green salad dressed in scallion ustard vinagrette.
Just keep the balance on the scale.
Salt is what fucks me, if i have salty foods i might gain 2-3lbs in water weight in a day.
