I'm new.
Not too badly out of shape, except that I'm a little underweight.
If I start tomorrow, how long until I'm /fit/?
>>
>>34932787

never

You'll stop after day 2
>>
I love one punch. But holy shit weebs need to stop posting this every fucking day. No. It's not a balanced workout plan. No, you won't get in shape doing this because you won't stick to it unless you are already a trained runner. This program is basically just heavy cardio with an automatic inclusion of shin splints. Read the fucking sticky.
>>
>>34932787
As much as I love this series, this is a shitty routine.
>>
>>34932811
I know I can do 100 sit ups (when I was younger I could do several hundred in an hour)
I can probably do 100 push-ups.
I don't know about squats, but it seems plausible.
The running concerns me. Running was never a strong suit of mine.

It doesn't seem impossible.
>>
>>34932787
4 years. Then you'll be able to 1hko stuff.
>>
>>34932847
It's a parody of a weeb's interpretation of fitness. That workout is hilariously easy for anyone remotely in shape.
>>
>>34932900
>run 10km a day
baka senpai
>>
>>34932847
Like I already said. If you aren't a trained runner this is going to fuck you up. It's not that the cardio is too difficult to handle, it's that modern society has us sitting in chairs or lying on beds 24/7. Chances are you have shit posture like just about everybody else on this planet. When you start running, this becomes a problem. Also, if you don't already know, Google shin splints. They suck. Before I became a real man and started powerlifting, I ran cross country. Fuck distance running man. Fuck it
>>
Fuck, I hate how One Punch Man is the newest meme anime. It's just like KLK or Shingeki no Kyojin.
Who /patrician/ here?
Ashita no Joe and Akage no Anne are my favorite series
>>
>>34932900
The problem is all of the people who ask abou this program are hilariously out of shape. Think before you speak, anon.
>>
>>34932820
The point is also, that even in the anime, people don't believe him that it's just this routine, that give him so much strength.

Apparently weebs can't really focus, unless there is a little girl demon god that is 5000 years old and gets molested by the main protagonist every single episode.
>>
>>34932915
Gtfo. Nobody cares.
>inb4 this is an anime board
There's a reason why /a/ and /fit/ are two different boards anon. You wouldn't post a cbt thread in /a/. Don't post /a/ content here.
>>
>>34932955
>You wouldn't post a cbt thread in /a/
I would. But /a/ would have horrible taste in aesthetics.
>>
>>34932955
>You wouldn't post a cbt thread in /a/.
Lel, would be worth the try for sure.
>>
>>34932820
I'm always kinda amused when /a/ rants about how easy that workout program is.
Because its humanly impossible to do that for three years every fucking day without ever skipping a single day.
>>
>>34932900
>100 proper push ups
>hilariously easy
>>
>>34932981
>any triple digit amount of push-ups without specific sets defined
>to be completed at any point within 24 hours
>difficult
>>
>>34932955
>You wouldn't post a cbt thread in /a/.
Yes I would. Now that you gave me the idea at least.
>>
>>34933061
He is being shown doing pushups past the point of collapsing, so I am fairly certain that all of that is to be done within a single set.

Also the actual problem isn't the workout itself, but the dedication that would be necessary to do it every single day for multiple years.
>>
>>34933083
I don't know what that random imaginary dude does. Last time this pic was posted, some weeb informed me it's supposed to be satire. You seem to be taking it seriously. Weebs are fun.
>>
>>34933061
He does them in one go. Normal unfit people can go 10-20, 100 is pretty hard desu senpai
>>
>>34933127
Its both. On the one hand its supposed to be a joke on what weebs thing is strength training, because that character could never achieve his strength with that workout.

On the other hand its also literally fucking impossible to complete, which no one who has never done any more advanced work outs would understand. Its like when some lardass tells you she's running a mile in three minutes.
>>
>>34933180
Why is it impossible?
>>
>>34932906

how obese are you
>>
>>34932787
To achieve a muscular body that you'll be proud of, about a year. The first month will be the worst and you will hate it, but once you're past it, you're in the clear. Lifting will be something you look forward to doing if you hang in there.
>>
You could do 10k every day if you've been jogging for a few months, but it wouldn't actually be very good for someone interested in racing. For general health though it's not too bad.
>>
>>34933429
Half discipline, it's difficult to work out every single day for years. Rest days are mental and physical. Also running every day is not recommended unless you're in season. On the off season or for amateur runners 5 days a week with one day for cross training is recommended, during race season running every day is common but that will wear you out and increase likelihood of injury.
>>
>>34933647
What if I cut the running entirely and do some other cardio exercise in place of it?

You could probably bike every day and not get injured or fatigued. Biking is about 1/3 the effort as running so just bike 30k every day.
>>
aaaand I thought this was a cbt thread. whoops
>>
>>34933429
The majority of people doesn't even make it through the first week of their no-fap month.

Would you honestly consider yourself capable of doing an advanced endurance training for three years in a row, every single day, no matter how much you feel like shit or don't want to do it?

This is eight weeks, for what it's worth. From lifting laundry detergent bottles in the basement. Left is first time in a gym ever, right is after lifting on machines exclusively and cardio six days a week for eight weeks.
>inb4 b-but i-i c-cant t-tell t-the d-difference
I said eight weeks.
>>
>>34934325
And I posted this assuming you want to get /fit/, not do a meme program using bodyweight exercises from a comic book.

Between the swimming pool and the shower at the community college gym, the water was hard as fuck, my hair looked greasy and unkempt. I shaved it off. Also, I'm 37, so now's the time...

Took me around 6 months to get pretty big from a underweight hockeyplayer base. (had a skinny-pack before)
>>
>>34934325
dude in eight weeks you need to make some gains, do you even lift or eat anything?
>>
>>34934558
I don't lift much, no. Just machines. My lifts all went up during this time. I've been focusing on getting my heart muscle in shape, getting my diet on point, reducing bodyfat, and trying to avoid heart disease. This is after a 150lb weight loss.
>>
>>34934644
My primary goal was to run a continuous mile, which I did, now I'm focused on getting my 5k time down to 20 minutes.
>>
>>34934644
what's the point if you're not going to get fucking huge brah
>>
>>34934674
I dunno man, not leaving my wife without a husband because I decided to get swole af instead of focusing on reversing the damage done by 30 years of morbid obesity?

You can do it
It's not easy for a sedentary person but it's doable.
Doable doesn't mean smart, though.
It's a joke for anyone remotely fit of course.
>>
>>34933903
An advanced endurance routine, I might falter a day or fifteen in three years.
Saitama didn't do an advanced endurance routine. I could do his routine easily even if I weren't already in good shape.
>>
>>34932976
>humanly impossible

Dyel spotted.

But seriously. Unless you count days when life shit happens: lose your job, family member dies, etc. most people are physically capable of doing this. Most people just don't have the willpower for it, that's all.
>>
>>34936419
Most people would absolutely annihilate their shins if they suddenly started running 10km each day
