Started creatine 2 weeks ago and now I drink more than ever. It isn't even that hot outside, and I heard that creatine holds water, but still I drink insane ammounts.
I almost drink 4 to 6 liters a day. I keep being thirsty and I also pee alot. I dont know if this is bad, since I also take proteine shakes. Do I piss out all the proteine? I need it for my gains.

like when i wake up i drink about 1 liter
when i have been up for 6 hours i already drank 3 liters
and you should drink a total of 2 liters a day
but im almost at 6
>insane amounts
>4 to 6L
typical lifter should consume atleast a gallon of water a day (3.8L)... add cardio or a hot climate and you should be over 5L and no youre not pissing out ALL of the protein
I am thirsty but I struggle to drink 2L in a day, do I need to just do regular chugs?
I am hoping more water will help flush some retention and make my cut progress look less erratic on the weighing scale

>criticizes the amount of water OP drinks as not actually being "insane"
>goes on to state that an actual insane amount is well within the range of what OP stated, and even below the maximum of that range

Creatine le not even once.

Bumping this.
Is 2L enough? (8x 8oz, or 8 "cups")

That times two.

Binge water drinking here I come.
Hard for me since I bloat on fluids easily. Suppose it helps I am cutting for the forseeable future so should help keep me full feeling.

Oh, but I do count ALL fluids, including dr pepper 10, milk, water with whey.
Try to keep it mostly water, I read though even caffeine containing fluids are net hydrating unless they are very concentrated in caffeine (espresso shot, 5 hour energy, maybe monsters)
Does anyone advocate scaling water intake based on your daily sodium? Wondering if I should drink more on days I go over 2,300 of salt (forget the unit I think its mg)

Bumping this, is their a fluid to sodium intake ratio?
are there any collections on or is there any consensus of with what you should supplement? As in aside from omega-3, vitamin D and creatine (I read the sticky)? I'm especially interested in whether there are any natural resources for boosting test levels

Not really man. I used to work for a supplement company. The next tier beyond a healthy balanced diet, workout and sleep routine would be bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. This shouldn't be pursued unless an imbalance is already applicable.
D-aspartic acid showed properties of boosting test, but the benefit was short lived.
Tl;dr focus on your lifestyle for promoting your hormones to their optimal levels
