Drinking calories helps too (that's why GOMAD is so popular).

Nah man, as long as you don't go overboard you'll be fine. You don't need to drink a whole gallon of milk daily, just enough to fill up your missing calories.

Milk is popular because it has good amount of fats, protons and carbs, it's cheap, accessible to everyone.

The humourous side of it occurs when someone is overweight and lifting. If you are underweight and lifting, GOMAD is okay.

In all honesty, I don't think /fit/ has taken it far enough. Here is my current suggestion on changing it:

I used to be like you. Never hungry. Always struggling to eat enough. It does get easier.

Now I have like a 1000 calorie breakfast and I'm so hungry that my stomach actually hurts less then 2 hours later. Just ate dinner like half an hour ago and now I'm already thinking about my next meal.
