Used to get it a couple years before I knew that this was something everyone knew about. Favorites are whispercrystal, gentlewhispering, and fairychar. Over time got really desensitized to the actual asmr sensation, but I still watch videos nightly to relax.
My first experience was when I was a young child getting my foot fitted at the shoe store. I know the feeling very well from getting personal attention from somebody with a soft voice, massages, watching a demonstration of using a certain object, or getting fitted for clothes, but the videos are cringeworthy and the asmr "community" is absolute shit. No video can synthetically produce the tingly feeling you get from an unexpected human encounter. "Asmrtists" should kill themselves.
