I lost 40kg over the course of a lil bit more than a year going a steady 500kcal deficit and losing about 2.5kg/month, some months more depending on how much cardio I did additionally to lifting.

Sure I know a friend who lost the same amount in 5 months, he ended up being a skinnyfat with shitton of lose skin and being weak as fuck, he started going to the gym after his weightloss "to fill out some of this skin" and could barely BP the barbell.

Unless you know exactly what you are doing (or are following a docs instructions) any weightloss that is >4kg/month, is not optimal and might hurt you in the long run.

If you keep a sedentary lifestyle there will be very little changes. You already started with the food. next step you need to do is add cardio. keep to the same program just add more exercise. Also some weights so you increase muscle mass. make a program that matches the work you put into your diet.

My gf finally has gotten a gene test and found out she has activated genes that react to carbs, so she has cut out carbs and has already seen results of this. She's about your size btw, but eats healthy and does mild exercise (long walks every two days). For her the gene thing seem to be the biggest trap for her weight loss. So you think there is anything hereditary (social or genetic) which affects your weight loss? If there is, you need to deal with it to see result.

No. Most TDEE formulas don't account for body fat. If you calculate it with your numbers, once with 10%bf and once with 40%bf, you get a difference of over 700kcal.

These calcs mostly bullshit, depending on the formula you can get a 1000kcal difference. Try what works for your body. And I can tell you, 2000 is not your TDEE.

You're like a guy who thinks he needs 400g of protein just because he weighs 600 pounds.

I'm not guesstimating what I eat, I'm using a scale
And I'm not overreporting my activity, I made sure to use a TDEE calculator that took my sedentarier-than-sedentary lifestyle into account

What I made this thread for was to ask about water weight and why I was seemingly not losing it, because if I had lost water should have lost more than the expected from the calorie deficit 2kg. The answer was not everyone has a high sodium diet so not everyone has water weight to lose. So 2kg is the right amount I should lose based on the calories I'm correctly tracking. I hope things are finally clear, I feel kind of autistic typing this

the 50grams of pineapple was together with the little bit of kale to make a smoothie, just to sweeten it
that day I tried to add the soy milk to it too. it was shit.
it's just a small cup of it, i take it because my sister was into a detox thing and made me have some and now i kind of like it
i also put mint and ginger in it but I don't count those cause it's less than 5 grams of both of them
and the 25 grams of chicken was leftover i used for the omelette, it really was a tiny amount
