how to get started on pull-ups, chin-ups and dips if i can't do one. i only weigh 70 kg, i just have weak muscles. i have lifted for a while now and have certainly gained some strength but i still can do a pull up. what do ?
Do negatives until you can.

Do rows until your lats are strong enough to do chinups. Shouldn't take long at all.
Deadlifts also train your back a lot.
Lat pull downs until you're strong enough

Your grip will be most likely the weakest at first, then there's the point when you realize that you're pulling with your arms only, then you get the back more involved when doing pull-ups after a few more tries.

I personally found that using assistance machines were useless. I started off only being able to do 2 but just kept on with it and now am pushing out 12-15. The only thing the assist machine did was make sure my numbers stay put

Stop doing meme programs like SS,
Once you're on a real program you will be able to do them
>>34869482
Use the assist machines and keep reducing the weight on the machine until you can pull your body weight
I feel so lucky that even at my fattest and most out of shape I could still always do 1 or 2 pull ups, chin ups or dips... its still hard work to get more. after 1.5 years of really trying I am up to 12 with 35lbs for pull ups, 10 chins with 35lbs and 10 dips with 25lbs but they hurt my elbows.

Could I feasably do this on my SS/SL rest days and not fuck my shit up?
>>34872567
I was told a rest day is just that, REST. That means stretching and cardio, nothing else. But I don't know shit so do whatever you want.
>>34872567
No. Rest.
It can be boring, I know, but you need it for the progression and the gains.
