Said armor isn't armor though.... it was a bunch of parasitic chitinous creatures which were most likely the result of some ancient sith alchemy, which fed on nutrients in his blood and gave him dark side power in return. He could even focus the power of the dark side on them to increase what he got back, making them extremely painful dark-side power generators which overcharged his force powers.
But yeah, their shells were somehow laser immune/resistant, and they were found in an ancient sith tomb.... so you can draw your own conclusion.

If the EU books I've read (and I've read a lot), the Darth Bane books were some of my favorites. I don't like that it's gonna be mostly null after Disney, but I don't plan on reading the Disney books anyway.

Actual body size does not matter, but if you love 1/3 of your body, you also lose 1/3 of your Midis.
Furthermore it's explained in a few of the books that force users who had lost natural body parts often had to forsake a lot of their physical prowess for more mental capabilities.
With an exception of the few fighters who ended up making their own fighting styles and being that much more deadly because no known counterattacks could be made against them.
Vader lost most of his senses when his body was near destroyed.
He can barely survive without a respirator.
It's also thought he survived purely off willpower using the force.
Going back to why some force users do not need to eat, they can control their metabolic rate, healing, etc.
Kinda hard to do all the cool super awesome force abilities when all of your power is nearly used up on just making sure you don't die.

Usually an entire diet change and workout regiment is needed to overcome this.

We have incredibly diverse physical/mental abilities in comparison to any other life form on our planet.
Very rare for two near identical animals to be so similar, yet one is an engineer and the other has the physical prowess to lift a truck.

If we went to a world with even the tiniest less gravity.
The weakest human would be considered average-abnormally strong in comparison to the life form of said planet.
A long distance runner would be able to run insane distances at incredible speeds with relatively low energy usage(The Flash).
A body builder would be able to lift boulders over his head with great ease and throw them great distances.
Any generic fighter would throw punches that knock their enemy back or leg sweeps that actually send the creatures flipping.
This might not be too far in the future.
Granted over time our children will evolve to adapt to said planet if we are colonizing it.
Those first couple of years though.

The part that I think is gay is the midiclorians existing. That the force is some extention of genetics is stoopid. The whole thing about "the force" is that it is border line faith based right? It having a LITERAL physical manifestation supposedly measurable in your bloodstream takes you out of that. Especially since there are people that don't even believe in the force. Opposed to Darth Maul, who was brutally tortured and constantly put in survivalist situations.
He would die if he did not take his training seriously.
This shows when he took on a Jedi Knight(in line to be on the Jedi Council) and a Jedi Apprentice(soon to be Jedi Knight and eventually would be on the Jedi Council).
The irony is Anakin has more Midis, but is sloppy, arrogant, and crude.
