Hey,
TL:DR;
185LB 5'9" - chunky. Lifting heavy, Eating 1000 calories/day. I can easily sustain it for a month or so. I'm 2 weeks deep. Trying to lean down.
Is that an issue? Is it safe for only 1 month?
bump?
I did this for 4 weeks. Started at 190. Stopped at 170. I did 2 1/2 workouts everyday and only ate 1 meal/day and it was usually like 2 big salads. After a while your body gets used to it. You'll lose a fuck ton of weight. At least I did

You what?

*2 1/2 hour workouts. Mostly cardio.

how much protein did you consume? what were your workouts? any muscle loss or strength loss?
Highjacking this to ask a semi relevant question: I am about the same as OP. If I eat at maintenance or slight deficit and lift 3 times a week, will the composition of my weight change?
Atm I have a lot of fat and little muscle.

What were your energy levels like? I have done this kind of dieting but my energy was just constantly gone despite eating healthy
OP here- No muscle loss. Hardly any the begin. Starting to notice definition. Mostly healthy fat & protein meals. Not really hungry - consuming low cal raw veggies and protein.
1000 just seems low for 185lbs @ 26 years old. But I'm doing fine for now
anorexia is just as bad as overeating you manlet dweeb
I have a question, I'm 5 weeks in to lifting, 5'10", 150lbs, but I got that belly fat.
Do I cut in hope that the abs will show through, or eat normally for the gains?
