I'm in the same boat as you except all I have is training. I don't have to work or go to school so I can rack up a lot of hours to work on boxing. I'm a quick learner and had experience fighting before so I'm already giving the guys who've been training longer a hard time during sparring.
Go to a boxing gym, not one of those gyms that have women's fitness or gut buster bullshit programs. Tell your trainer you plan to compete and see if he can give you a legit training menu instead of that generic bullshit weightloss programs. I'm planning to compete at 160 and maybe 154.
