Ok so ive just learned that our heart muscle tend to use mainly fat for fuel, like 80 or 90%. Does this mean that there is more to cardio and fatloss than we think?

If i jump very rapidly for like 20 times in a row, my heart is fucking racing afterwards. What if i do this every 5 or 10 minutes throughout the day? My heart will use ALOT more energy (fat) than usual. My body will basicly contantly be in a state of fat burning. Is this a viable idea?

>exercising burns fat
holy shit this is like a revolution of healthcare

I dont think you understand the point im making. We all knew that exercising burns calories and thus burns fat. But the thing is, the heart muscle tend to use allmost purely fat for fuel. So what im saying is, what if we focus more on trying to get the heart working, instead of purely looking at exercising/calories.

If we were to get our heartrate up for a considerable percentage of the day, we would be in more of a state of burning fat, without hurting any of the other calories. Our bodies would still have enough carbs and proteins for all the other required functions.

Its kinda like, helping the body a hand to use macros more efficiently.

You mean.....doing cardio?

This seriously has to be bait

Well cardio raises your heart rate but like i mentioned in the op, there are other ways to get your heart going.

Also, if this is such common sense, then why is 99,999999% of all people on this board convinced that burning 300 kcal from weighlifting does the same as burning 300 kcal from cardio?
