can anyone familiar with the material felpa give a good description or info, im aware its fleece but thats about all the info available, thanks
>>
>>10768831
Its thicker, boxier and doesn't drape as well as jersey.

Tried some felpa shorts on and they fit very boxily.

I have some felpa prisoners though, and they're expetionally warm and comfy
>>
>>10768831
felpa means hoodie in italian, or so i think
>>
Wtf!? Placed 2 separate orders from farfetch on Saturday and the other on Sunday, they still have not been shipped and my PayPal and credit card show the transaction as "pending". Wtf is going on? They should have been shipped yesterday. Should I call them?
>>
>>10768860
Its a weekend and bank holiday after Christmas, the boutiques you ordered from are most probably closed until either today or the new year
>>
>>10768870
But why would they do sales if the banks going to be closed the next day? I have a feeling the people who copped things before they sold out will get boned over this issue
>>
>>10768886
The boutique may be closed, but farfetch - the online platform, isn't closed.

I remember when Toto had them they were called the "Ramones Sabot"

https://man.totokaelo.com/rick-owens/ramones-sabot/black/KLF6A9

>>10769249

I was surprised at how much looser the leather is. I expected it to feel a little more snug, like the Ramones socks feel. The suede is soft, the shoe is very light, overall a very cozy sneaker.
>>
>>10769366
That's what pushed me into copping first (even though I plan on getting ramone socks aswell)

Went to the rick store and a guy had them on, we got chatting and I said I was after one of the sock models and he commented on the regular ramones and said when you have the adisocks on its like you're wearing nothing at all
>>
>>10769327
Maybe they meant the shoes are uncomfortable?

Who's projecting now?
>>
>>10769366
Do you know what prices were those when they were still being sold?
>>

I think they sold out full price, IIRC. Greater than $1000

yes rick owens is known for inferior products and easily tearing straps.

Intarsia! Had my eyes on a mollino but don't really like how the collar looks unzipped.

Looks sweet dude, I'm gonna get a bauhaus or a scuba when I can be bothered to hold off buying stuff for a couple of months.

Cant justify it at the moment, would also make it my 4th rick jacket/coat so I should probably ditch the one I wear the least
>>
>>10770575
What's the one you wear the least?
>>
>>10770575
Probably a cotton/poly blend intarsia, it fits very tight and I can't really zip it up without a great deal of body manipulation, still works unzipped though.

Its my summer jacket, bit cold tight now to wear it

I'm trying to take a little break from the whole rick streetwear thing since it's 100% of what I wear these days and I'm feeling a little too childish.

What would you suggest are the nicer pieces Rick has made that could be used for formal wear? He's easily my favorite designer and I want to keep with him, I'm just trying to lean off the heavily streetwear oriented aesthetic.

Looking for double vent anwyay. The single vent cut is too relaxed for me. Already have a few blazer cut that way. New is preferable. I've got my eye on a couple.

>>10773890
Yeah I feel you, I've been adding more of the sharp tailored pieces in slowly over the year. I recommend the Astaire trousers and tailored pods for bottoms. Both are great. Comfy and feel incredibly well made. As for tops, the moody mohair turtlenecks (ones with the side slits) make for great mid layers. I'm a big fan of the band collared moody tunics. Particularly the poplin one with leather collar and rear zipper.

>>10773921

Every season has nice blazers. Fabrics vary. Island had some cool silk blends, same with Naska. Every season there is a "hero" fabric that usually gets put on the staple pieces. The Moody blazer I had was that thick boiled cashmere he used throughout that season. Sphinx uses that weird "pilled" corduroy/wool.

Anyway, King Baby over here is concerned that the longer length is making me look like an even worse manlet. It doesn't look too bad, and the longer length does what it's supposed to, but I'm trying to avoid looking like a toddler, which is why I stay away from drop crotches.

Guys, important sizing question here. I'm a size 34 waist, 160 pounds and 6ft, what size bottoms should I be going for? I'm really confused with the Rick sizing chart.thx

Medium I would've thought
>>
>>10775027

Those dolman sleeves look hella awkward. It's a little short and tight and the arms too.
When men wear women's clothing there's a fine line between adrogyny and simply looking like you're a dude wearing a women's sweater.

Filson does rewaxing services. I'm sure you can find somewhere in your area that will do that for you. Not sure what you expected from dry cleaning a waxed jacket.

I can probably rewax the jacket myself with that stuff, thanks
>>

It's really difficult to get a good coating yourself on such a large piece. You can use the dry bar wax, but it doesn't do as good of a job as a wet paraffin and high heat (which I wouldn't recommend doing yourself for obvious reasons).

Ramones Socks came in today boys. Perfect fit, really happy I found that half size. I'm a big fan of how slim they are compared to the adidas sock. I like the silhouette of the adidas sock more however, I think mostly due to the suede being a really deep black that blends into the outfit more than grained leather.

Anyway I was cleaning out my closet to make room and took a Rick sneaker family photo. Really happy with where my overall shoe collection is at, especially the Rick.

w2c vegan ramones or ramones without the toe box
>>
>>10777987

I don't like Geos, honestly. The last pair I had sat in my closet unworn for months. Too bulky for me. At times even the Ramones look a bit too sporty and bulky for my body type and the look I'm trying to achieve.

>>10777970

Eh, it's hard to say. The sock ramones are EU 43.5, the adisocks are US 10.5 (labelled as a very confusing EU 44 2/3). I would say the Ramones fit very true to size. I wouldn't order any other size, I really lucked out finding this rare half size for as cheap as I did. The adisocks I would say fit true to their UK size (UK10/US10.5 which is also really confusing and dumb). My Moody tech runners are US 10.5 and fit me perfectly, just some variance in the pattern I guess. Specifically, the adisocks are a bit looser in the ankle than the ramones.

No more shoes for me until I can cop some Ann D backlaces next season. Looks like a number of retailers are already getting deliveries on those.

Anyone got Ricky new years resolutions?

Slim down your wardrobe?
Cop a grail?
>>

I'm sure it's not going to sound like a big deal to most but my resolution is to stop spending money buying my lunches at work and make them myself so I can cop my first Rick.

Nothing extravagant but everyone's gotta start somewhere right?
>>
>>10778039
Stop buying clothes and shoes that I "sort of" want. Mostly buy cheap tees and Rick. Definitely want b/w DRKSHDW Ramones or b/b main lines, possibly other Rick footwear or tops if the price is right.

Are there summer sales when they try to get rid of the s/s stuff?

I discovered something interesting while browsing the SS16 arrivals... Raccagni zips!!!

No idea if this will be seen throughout or only on the runway pieces like pic related. But exciting nevertheless. We saw some Raccagni zips used last season on the reversible bombers, supposedly because Raccagni made reversible zips and YKK did not have any available.
>>
>>10778213
I thought Raccagni zips were standard for Rick? My gimp hoodie has one. I think the alignment is a bit off which makes it kind of difficult to engage. Was considering exchanging.
>>
>>10778336
Yeah I'm pretty sure all Rick uses racagni zippers...all my pieces do

>>10778342
>>10778336

I accidentally copped both of my "summer money grails" this week, so now I'm not sure! I was planning to save for a Rick leather and some Ramones over the summer when I'm not in school & can work more hours, but I ended up ordering both.
>>
>>10778336
>>10778342
Use of YKK zips has definitely been a point of complaint for a couple years. My 2012 leather has raccagni but later pieces are chunk YKKs

Rick has been exclusively using YKK on his mainline pieces since the SS14 'VICIOUS' season. DRKSHDW still uses Raccagni strangely, hence why your gimp hoodie has one.
>>
>>10778213
God damn I hope so

Thinking about copping a ss16 leather, racc zips might be the tipping point for me
>>
>>10778402
Am I an idiot for thinking the YKKs on my geobaskets aren't much different / are possibly better than the raccagnis on my jacket.
>>
>>10778449
I've found the massive YKK zips (like on geos) are pretty reasonable.

But my Racc's on my ramones shit all over my Geo ykk's though.
>>
>>10778383
nice
>>
>>10778449

No, just in the minority. Most prefer the weight and slick look of the Raccagni. They feel higher quality, one of those details that's hard to place. It's all about the details, though.
>>
>>10778039
Gonna refine my wardrobe, change out my B/B ramones for grey ones, cop socks and a leather, sell some stuff. Also want to drape my gf in Rick

Real life important resoloutions include, practising my music more, play more fucking guitar and pick up the piano again, take my career exams and stop being such a miserable fuck
>>
>>10778039
Like other guy, I want to save up for big purchases instead of caving and buying other pieces.
>>
>>10776451
>>10774898
Is it possible to wear those socks with prisoners?
>>
>>10778519
Will stretch the cuffs on the prisoners a bit but I dont see why not
>>
>>10778519

Having them over the prisoners works, having the under is hard to do with how slim they taper and the suede being tacky. I couldn't do it, mostly because I wouldn't stretch the cuffs out that hard and the socks aren't skin tight enough.
>>
>>10777999
Dude I gotta say out of all the ramones, the socks are definitely the biggest. I don't think they're TTS at all.

Unless you're talking about regular ramones?

With my lows, mids I actually go 1 size european up, highs are pretty TTS but I wish I had sized down half a size or a full size with the socks.

Cargobaskets and Geos are a bit bigger but I got my actual size as lacing can make a huge difference.
>>
>>10778039
Renovating my bedroom, so I'm getting a new wardrobe/physical space to hold my clothes so I intend on selling a whole lot of shit and starting over with lots of basics.

So I guess I want to get prisoners, pods and maybe an intarsia.

Overweight right now, but started going to the gym a few months ago and I'm making good progress building muscle, so one of my resolutions is to just get fitter so I can actually feel good about what I'm wearing.

On that note, what rick stuff looks good on a muscular body? I don't think it'd be the same stuff that looks good on lanky people.I have geos already. Prisoners maybe?

>>10778454
A friend told me the difference between YKK on his mainline ramones and Racc on his dunks was like a night and day difference

>>10778383
Very nice. I live in Australia so I'm not sure how often I'll have the chance to sport the full ricky outfit which I dream of.
>>
>>10778502
Maybe I just got a really dank YKK zip on mine. The quality seems on par with my other racc zips
>>
>>10778750

The lows fit the smallest for sure. There's just not a lot of room to get a foot in there.

That being said, I stand by how I size for any Ramones shoe based on the sole shape and how it fits the length and shape of my foot. All of the Ramones (hig/low/sock) have identical insole patterns from my experience. I would wear a 43.5 in every version of the Ramones ideally, except the foothole is so small on the lows I could do a 44 And it would hold my foot and keep it from wiggling. I couldn't do that with the sock because they are too loose and there is wiggle room. I can squeeze into a 43 in highs but my foot is a touch too long indicated by where the ball of my foot lands. I could not do this with socks or lows because my foot simple won't get inside the shoe. Mostly my high arches affect this.

Any other shoe I'm an IT43 if there are no have sizes, FR44. Usually a US 10.5 in sneakers.
>>
>>10778939
same here my man, i dont see major diff in terms of quality. when golden raccgs were introduced in fw13 a lot of people bitched about it, so they changed to ykk, now people bitching about ykk. never ending
