The Chisato side story from volume 8 was around 12 pages. With this one being at the very least 40 there's a chance for it to contain multiple girls including Chisato. There's also the chance it could soley focus on Yuki considering she really hasn't had that much solo time with Basara compared to other girls.
Either way I hope the author continues to write side stories, because they are a good way to give further details to stuff that gets glossed over (the end of Chisato's part in volume 9 for example).

The anime adapted up until volume 8 of the light novel. The only piece of volume 6 which got a brief mention was the Chisato part after the credits of episode 3 in Burst. So if you're looking to get a better idea of the story I would suggest reading volume 6.

Some of the smaller translations get released in their entirety, but at the moment there aren't any plans to release stuff in it's entirety after "X" number of days/months. That would encourage people to play the waiting game which wouldn't be right. People donate however much money they can afford and get access to all the translations. Active Raid hasn't done that well in terms of sales, but is enjoyable for what it is. Hundred is at the very least more enjoyable than Asterisk. I haven't watched Haifuri, because I'm not really into moe girls, but it seems to be doing pretty well for itself.
Summer season IMS is doing Masou Gakuen HxH. I've read a bit of the LN but haven't found the writing of the lewd scenes to be anywhere near as good as it is in Shinmai. The anime should have similar service to Shinmai though which is good.

I might have been reading it wrong, but that part of volume 8 that takes place right after Chisato tells Basara of his birth suggests that Chisato thinks of Raphealine like a sister, but they also share the same color eyes as Basara. I know there's also a part where Chisato lies to Basara but I don't know how that fits into all this.
Secondly Basara is the biological Child of Jin and Sapphire. Sapphire couldn't carry the child so he was transplanted using magic into Raphealine. The real life equivalent to this type of Surrogacy is gastational surrogacy.

It's also important to note that Chisato's greatest desire has been to not only be useful to Basara, but to also be completely dominated by him in a sexual manner. If a reckless contract is formed it's possible that a person could spend their entire lifetime without being able to complete it. As of volume 9, Chisato's contract with Basara is pretty much fucked up. She submitted to him too much and transferred him a ridiculous amount of her power to the point where even if he was to trigger it he wouldn't be able to control it.
Basara overused the succubus drug that created the clones during Chisato's training/contract ceremony. Chisato's togami power entered into both his demon blood and his heavenly blood from Raphaeline strengthening the both of them.

As i said in my previous post, I'm under the impression that there are both heavenly beings and togami (10 gods). It seems to me like this series could possibly have something similar to a pantheon of gods. I don't think there's been any indication that there's someone who presides among all the gods like a Zeus. We don't really know too much about them other than that some of them view Basara as being an abomination due to his demonic, human, and heavenly blood. We also know that Chisato was condemned by some of them when she gave up her position as a togami to watch over Basara. It seems as though there might be some type of order or method of compromise seeing as there were some gods that sided with her, and allowed her to use her power for Basara's protection.
Chisato, Ornis, and Raphaeline are the only gods we've met in the series so far. Ornis was tasked with being Chisato's observer while she was in the human world and was also described as being infatuated with Chisato, because of her beauty. Ultimately she ended up killing him so it's possible gods can be killed.
Raphealine (Basara's surrogate mother) is described as being older and much wiser than Chisato. Raphealine was the one who gave Chisato the earrings she always wears. Chisato loved Raphealine like a sister, and watched as Raphealine was killed for birthing Basara. I'm under the impression that Chisato blames herself for not being able to prevent the death of Raphaeline, and that's why she gave up her position in order to honor Raphaeline's legacy by protecting Basara.
I believe there's going to be some type of conflict when the gods find out that Chisato has not only established a contract with Basara, but has also fallen in love with him.

I think the only reason why IMS picked up HxH was because they can't do an S3 of Shinmai right now. Volume 8 is literally slice of life/Chisato's romantic trip. Volume 9 is politics and the duel against Celis. Volume 10 has to be finished before this series gets an S3.

It's important that people understand though that the content was based off of extras from the regular manga (which is tamer than the anime and light novel). According to the author, Chisato has a fairly hardcore fanbase in Japan. He went all out with her stuff in volume 8 in order to please them. Hopefully IMS gets with the program and does the same in the future.
