I asked a friend a little more versed in art than me, and he says while it technically is right, the fact the chin cuts off around the same area as the hair and collar makes it look odd. He suggested cutting the chin a little before the hair and it should work. I will give it a try and maybe revisit eyes and mouth and see what I can get to work.

What tools are you using for your art, brush settings, etc..? Your lines are good, and I would like to know how you got them that way. Especially for the transparent overlay in her nightgown.
Also for those wondering on me, I am using a Surface Book with Manga Studio 5 EX. Often use a flat pen for shading, but I've been debating dabbling using watercolor or airbrushes for shading more.

I work in paint tool sai, my lines are done with 60% opacity and 8.0 size - I work in canvas size of at least 2000 by 2000. The dress opacity was done by creating a solid pink layer and then dabbing away with an eraser at half opacity.

Honestly, this is just me being new to drawing fluids in general. I've been messing around with a few tips out there, but not many of them apply since I probably over-line my work (lots of people don't have as many lines for hair and even none for fluids, oftentimes).
Thinking this is the last time I do that hair strategy though. I feel like it will look better if I dont put as many lines through the hair next thing I do.

In fact, in general this was a really different piece. I dropped down the saturation and upped the luminosity on this work, because the characters are a little "brighter/lighter". I tend to go with more saturated color, so this was good practice to mess around.
