But that didn't make me rage, it quietly got me thinking "really? Is this what the Simpsons are now?"
So I stopped following that for years, until I tried again at seasons 26 and 27. I can't get far into those, it's so unfunny and bland now.
I really hate how they feel the need to have characters explain the plot repeatedly in episodes, as well as them directly saying how they feel with wooden delivery

I knew the Simpsons had been getting really bad but this was it after I watched this episode
I was done and I haven't watched The Simpsons since
That Halloween ep where Homer tries to vote for Obama. Wasn't just that, the whole episode was fucking terrible. Saw a Christmass one that was about as bad, too.
