The celebration of bird-themed heroes continues! Cleansing our palates of Hawk and Dove, we continue with the fledgling stories of the Birds of Prey!

And now, a storyline wherein the Bechdel test is dragged out into the street and shot, stabbed, set on fire, then kicked into the Gotham river.
This is well before the Huntress was an accepted part of the team in Gotham, much less one of Oracle's agents.
That... that's not a real martial arts pose, is it?
And now, unnecessary and painful recap.
This place could have been DC's version of the Savage Land. I'm kinda sad it's never seen again.
Don't be catty, Babs.
Back in the sad, lonely days before Zinda Blake was around to transport the Birds everywhere...
The signature Huntress fighting style. (Seriously. By the end of the Birds of Prey run, Huntress has elevated fighting dirty to a martial art that lets her stand her ground against even Lady Shiva.)
You know, nobody bitched when Batman pulled the whole "I'm not gonna kill you, but I don't have to save you" bit. Double standards, Barbara.
Man, this exchange would have the Internet yelling at DC for a month today.
Then again, we had Liefield and "You made that man grab and grope you with your dancing!" in the last thread, and I don't remember any outcry over that. Possibly because nobody was actually reading the series by then.
Damn, there's still over 100 pages here. Say whatever else you will, but you can't fault Dixon on the quantity of his work.
Anybody still reading here?
Yeeeeeah, can't really fault Canary's thinking at all here.
So, wait... the representative for Zesti Cola gets to gun down a building full of people with a military helicopter?
This won't be the last we see of Barbara's control issues.

Homestretch bump.
Okay, I thought non-image posts would bump a thread. Someone enlighten me?
My browser is frozen, but apparently the auto-queue is still uploading, so... Onwards?
If memory serves, this is the Spellbinder that emerged from the Underworld Unleashed event, where Neron let villains sell their souls for power upgrades. It was forgotten quickly, as was this incarnation of Spellbinder, fortunately for Barbara's secret identity.
Okay, sheesh. First the computer gave up the ghost completely, then 4chan swore there was an embedded file in the image.
And with some minor difficulty, the first Chicken Dinner storytime is over! Come back tomorrow, when we offer up another mystery bird for your viewing pleasure. It may be Darkwing Duck, it may be more Birds of Prey, it may be Phoenix: Endsong!
(Someone has to like Land's porn tracing, that's why he keeps getting work, right?)

Looks like a block.

OPs can't bump their own threads.
Sometimes it seems to let me bump if I haven't posted for a couple hours.

Frustrating when you're trying to storytime. And yeah, I thought I was able to self-bump after a bit too, which is why I was confused.

Yeah, that post returned it to the front page. I guess there's a time limit - it'd be nice if it was published somewhere?

They all look so awful.

Golly, I didn't know you could spray it these days.
Technomology sure is something I tell you what
