You are the CEO what would you do to save this channel?

Bring back the 90s
>>
Other than a more healthy and balanced schedule, nothing. They're doing a pretty good job lately, CN is the one that needs saving.

Renew The Loud House for 5 more seasons

I mean one mediocre show isn't enough to save a bad network
>>
>>84434352
Greenlight another Avatar sequel.
>>
>>84434352
All of its shows are currently generally watchable to good. Literally just better scheduling is all it needs.

But to answer your question the way you want, nothing, as a big chunk of the people who ask this question are more interested in hating the channel than the channel getting better.
>>
>>84435122
Adventure Time did that pretty well. When you compare TLH to all the other shit Nick has had recently it's like a fucking messiah being sent onto the network.
>>
>>84435353
I'm surprised anyone wants a continuation of the Avatar franchise after seeing 4 continuous seasons of incompetence.

>>84435024
Also release episodes regularly please.

>>84434352
>You are the CEO
>CEO of Nickelodeon
>I'm under the thumb of Viacom and its cronies
Just fire me now, it's not like any good ideas of mine will be listened to.

But honestly, I would try to make it have a better schedule and try and put on some more original programming, as well as stop running SpongeBob for a couple of hours a day. Give it some variety and let new shows grow and breathe.

Stop cancelling shows after one season since spongebob isn't doing as well and needs to be retired

See what cartoons that cartoon network rejects so we can grab something they failed to grab and not fuck up like they did with adventure time
>>
>>84435093
He is right though anon, CN is literally just five hours of TTG and other assorted programs, and that's just the weekday schedule. It's even worse on weekends.
>>
Mandatory "Worldwide Day of Play"s on the first Saturday of each month.
Bump up Nick at Night's start time by an hour, have it end a hour later.
More live action programming.
More animated programming, but make all new series work with quarter hour shorts in mind.
>>
>>84434352
Review and air more original shows, look into rebooting some old Nick shows, and bring back Friday nights for cartoons. Oh, and fire Dan Schnider

Viacom could be doing better, if its owner would quit fighting the company itself in broad daylight.

Firing CEO's/board members left and right from the company, people that have had decades of experience.

Right now Viacom and Redstone are in a legal battle to see if the 92 year old owner(who owns at least 80% of it) is fully capable of having rational thought. Both of them are having this court battle in broad daylight and are handling it in a manor that is making investors very wary if investing in the company itself. This in turn makes it unstable and slows down growth for the cartoons/shows we like. Uncertainty is a killer in the stock market, and Viacom is already weak as is.
>>
Push for more challenging content, stuff that makes people think and tries to reach new territories not previously conceived for children's cartoons like Ren and Stimpy and Avatar the Last Airbender did. Push for more creator-driven content rather than forcing it through the approval of like 20 executives who haven't seen the outside world for at least a decade. Also end Fairly Odd Parents.

Treat my audience like they're kids... not like they're functionally retarded.

Kids aren't stupid, they can understand complicated stories and complex humor. Stop 'talking down' to them with shows that require no thought and have no thought put into them.

First answer best answer.

I'd dust off the slime machines and teach kids what awesome is.

Bury FOP in the ground and pump more money into spongebob to fix it, they're on the right track getting Hillenburg back.

I'd personally make sure they didn't fuck up the Rocko reboot as well.
>>
>>84437281
Probably, but he's a person that sees his power diminishing so he'd want to show everyone he still has some strength left in him. Unfortunately he's bringing the company, and the workers that keep it going, down with it.

>moar spongeberbs, stop making so many sitcoms that are destined to fail

Start a streaming service that has every show that aired on the network from 1985 to 2009. No original programming.

Replace it with an instrumental version of an Earthbound song?
>>
>>84434428
Man I love the Thundermans and Bread Winners
>>
>>84438455
With spengboy improving with the new team I agree. And fuck all of those sitcoms. This isn't Disney Channel.
>>
>>84438565
I don't get why disney doesn't do this. They could do a streaming juggernaut and make netflix their bitch. Just imagine the cash they'd make. I would easily trade netflix for a disney version.
>>
>>84435816
This epic "Korra was bad" meme needs to end already.

Season 1 was good, 2 was garbage because it was never supposed to exist, 3 was the best storyline in both series combined, 4 started strong but had a shitty finale.
>>
>>84439383
>was the best storyline in both series combine
This is a lie and you are a bad person
>>
>>84436012

These plus

>Give SpongeBob an epic series finale
>Have a classic two hour Nick block everyday (four random eps of 90s Nick shows, not just Nicktoons)
>Make a Oh Yeah Cartoons style show, only with Non-US animation companies from around the world
>Make The Angry Beavers Rock Opera and Bye Bye Beavers
>>
>>84435643
>better scheduling
>nick

there is literally no way you can fix viacom's scheduling
>>
>>84438833
To a extent, people love Earthbound.
>>84439383
That lezzing out ending was nothing but NEET pandering.
>>
>>84435353
Same but I would first air the last airbender on nick and make a surprise announcement that korra has been remade/rebooted. The first episode would have me apologizing for the original run and the abuse avatar fans went through.

>Bryke actually working on the show was a huge mistake and we're sorry.

https://youtu.be/_AwD_7yNzKo

After the reboot I'll introduce the third series with a earthbending avatar.
>>
>>84439829
No, just no.

Also fixed.

>And fuck all of those sitcoms. This isn't Disney Channel.
Nick has always aired sitcoms they didn't even make cartoons until the 90s.
>>
Most of these answers make terrible business sense.
>>
Cancel spongebob
>>
>Make new fun original game/sport shows that you can invite kid audiences and participants to so you can be closer with your audience (Legends of the Hidden Temple, GUTS, Figure It Out, Double Dare, that kid video game competition but with modern games like Smash Bros)
>Bring back special Nick Summer events to invite kids to their studio to. Slime was your staple why the hell did you ditch it? Only reason I would ditch it would be for environmental purposes. And do more prize giveaways. Make kids remember the splat logo by having it in their house all the time.
>Have at least one or two shows with lore or continuity going on to broaden audiences
>Stop just looking for "the next Spongebob or Adventure Time" and look for comedy shows with their own original quirk and style, such as THE GODDAMN MODIFYERS
>Change up sitcom formula to not just be exclusively school slice of life. Before they had Dog with a Blog and that Witch show but those are over now.
>Don't fucking air the BET awards ever.
>Bring back "Kids vote for their favorite shows" timeslot. You can vote on your app too what show you want between the hours of like, 5pm - 6pm would air just to make kids want to actually visit your channel.
>>
>sell off the company to tumblr.
>get rich while you laugh at manchildren complaining that Nickelodeon is ruined.
>>
>>84435024

Thats the fucking reason why Spongebob went to shit in the first place you dumbass! The show went on too long!
>>
>>84441424
Spongebob went to shit because it proved it could bring in maximum revenue with minimum effort. Now that actual competition has arrived, they're starting to try again, luckily for them that competition is on their own channel.

Nick is fine.
>>
>>84434428
Nickelodoenfags need to leave
>>
>>84436012
Fix Nick at Nite as well, quit marathoning 2-3 hours of only two shows a night every night.

You want to see 4 hours of something go stream it.
>>
>>84434428
How?
>>
>>84439383
>Season 1 was good
mediocre at best
>>
>>84436004
I heard it was doing better.
>>
>>84440893
>Most of these answers make terrible business sense
So we're on par with the actual companies that make the decisions already? Great. Too bad we aren't being paid millions though.
>>
>>84439383
I'm not saying Korra was bad. I actually enjoyed it. I'm more talking about the fact that the network fucked off with having anything to do with the series after Season 1. They didn't even really care about the show during Season 1 even though at the time it probably would've been their most successful show given it had an actually good time slot.
