Snyder was always on this, he's bankrolled development of the entire sequence of movies, so his story credit is automatic. It doesn't mean he's got any serious input to the body of the script, just that it has to reference the framework he set out for the stuff he's working on - which means under guild rules he gets a story credit.
If that's the Allan Heinberg it seems to be, he's a tv writer and mostly producer; an ideas guy. Which means it's Johns dialogue, scene setting, pacing. Johns is also very much a tv writer and producer. One wrote and produced chick shows, the other wrote and produced dork shows. This is dopes in suits territory, ladies and gentlemen.
Of all the names attached to this story/script wise only Jason Fuchs and Zack Snyder have any real experience of working with big budgets. You better pray Johns didn't shit the bed again.

Zack Snyder is literally the only reason we are getting a Wonder Woman movie. He decided to introduce her in Dawn of Justice, he came up with the base outline, his production company bankrolled production, he believes in movies with strong female leads.

The idea of someone else stepping into any of the Trinity's shoes, even for just a while, has always been cool to me. I loved it when Artemis moonlighted as Wonder Woman for a while. I loved Dickbats and Gordan-bats. It's fun to see someone else try their hardest to live up to the immense legacy of those three heroes.
