Keep in mind, even being a dick Zeus was still one of the most loved and adored gods, the same goes for the others, they are still worshiped and people still take a lot of pride on them, even if they are often dicks. This is a thing that the greeks had accepted, their gods had the same vices, mistakes and potential to do good than humans.

None of those are necessarily bad traits of Hades himself, those are things other people associate with him that are bad. That's not really proving that Hades wasn't generally a cool guy, that's saying people didn't see him as a cool guy.

Something that confused me about KND is that in one episode, they say Father's real last name is Wigglestein. Then in the Operation ZERO movie, his first name (Ben) is revealed, but he is shown to be Nigel's uncle which would likely make his last name Uno.
That is, unless he changed his last name to prevent Nigel from finding out about their bloodline relation. I think in the INTERVIEWS episode, his briefcase has the initials "B.W." on it (anyone remember), which lines up with the theory that he changed his surname.

The "Wigglestein" name is from the "Adam and Eve" episode, which is told from #1's perspective and is supposed to be about the origin of adults. The story told in it doesn't really fit with anything else told in the series - it portrays Father as the first adult to rebel against children, but Father is later shown to have grown up a child under Grandfather's rule. My opinion is that #1's story is just that, a story, or at the very best, a legend which happened Thousands of years ago, and Father was simply substituted for Wigglestein as a representation for the audience.
Pretty sure his name is just Benedict Uno, maybe Wigglestein is his middle name, who knows.
