There is something innately pleasing about reading bad webcomics. Not "bad" because you disagree with an opinion, bad because the author does not seem to understand the conceppt of humor. The pandering, the lowest common denominator jokes, the trash art quality and always, always not nearly as regular as most of the actually good stuff.

I don't know about elsewhere in the world, but around here ambulances just have a heated saline solution to combat blood loss. We don't have the required tools to test a person's blood type, either, so having your blood type on your ID might save precious time between arriving at the hospital and getting the right blood type ready. But then, any kind of ID will give us your name and then we'll just call the hospital and they'll probably have it in your file so they can have the right blood ready when we get there.

Like I said, I can't speak for how ambulances do elsewhere, and it's not inconceivable that areas with longer between hospitals have ambulances equipped with a few pints of 0- in a cooler, but phlebotomy is some complicated shit (apparently the A, B, AB, O and O- stuff is just the bare basics) and around here we leave it to the specialists.
