I relate to it because i know what it's like to have friends who haven't quite gotten their shit together. Some being simply depressed, they find enjoyment in just hanging with friends and people they like, doing drugs, go on impulsive adventures and being cynical. Some friends show that they like each other through insults.

Habits is how you remember your crew right after you leave for college. Most of it is just very plain or even boring situations that become inflated as the crew recalls them over the years. As the years go by, without the context, the situations simply lose their shine.

Sounds like a winner. The fact that the chameleons eyes can go all over the place lends itself well to panic attacks and over analyzing social events, its slow and unnatural limb movement fits well, and the ability to dissapear in any environment is perfect.
Likewise, I always imagined that unicorns were the biggest weirdos, since only virgins can see them, there is this social stigma about them, where they can't interact with each other for fear that they disappear, but by not interacting they have effectively disappeared already.
