Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!
But enough about me, how's your weekend shaping up?
We've got two entire issues of Kirby to start off with.
Kirby only drew the cover to this, but I do love a cover story.
I can't really find a corresponding story for this cover, so I'll jusy post the whole issue for funsies.
That's enough Silver Age for today...
... it's time for The Amazing Spider-Man!
Cool.
Dude, you ever think about storytiming fashion comics, like Millie the Model, et. al.?

Those don't look particularly tight. And gee, it's not like he could dislocate limbs or anything if he wanted to try getting out.

In all fairness, the guy who draws this strip is 85 in October. I think he's due to retire soon, and let the Sunday artist take over.
>western comics will never make a comeback

They have kind of made a comeback, just as they have in cinema; not as popular as they used to be, but if you make them gritty enough then people will pay money to see/read them. Personally, I'd like a comeback of the lighthearted western.I've been working on an idea for a Cisco Kid miniseries, in the vein of the goofy old TV show by way of Lucky Luke. Just as a thought experiment, of course...

Not really. Who the fuck is making westerns anymore?

You get the occasional miniseries from companies like Dynamite and Moonstone, and All-Star Western v3 lasted a damn sight longer than anyone thought it would.
That's enough wall-crawling wildness for today...
