I had the game on Playstation back in high school, because I had a Japanese playstation for DDR. Why do people still remember it? It was obscure even back then.

LPers and streamers like The Freelance Astronauts and ProtonJon started showing off the game, and word of mouth spread from there. Since Pepsiman is one of those goofy Japanese games with a weirdly catchy soundtrack and an odd concept, it found its audience.

I remember it from old game informers. god i miss those. so many games i remember from them almost as if i was a real fan that really played them! and now i try to look them up based on vague memories, and.... some of them apparently were never released, or became utterly obscure. sadly there's no complete archive of gameinformer.. finding an incomplete one really got my hopes up
