The character designs are lovely and the action is nice and even good personality on some of the characters, like Leo. The humor is even great in parts.
But the plot and character INTERACTIONS are a mess of missed opportunities that just ruins the whole thing.

In the Image comic, Donnie got shot to hell and dropped like 80 stories. There was a whole issue of him lying paralysed in an alley terrified he was being eaten by rats.
None of that was as brutal as seeing him so small and broken, bleeding out in his weeping father's arms.

I like storytimes, they're fun and a great way to get discussion going about my favorite books like Jem and the Holograms, Godzilla, Empowered, and so on.
Even books that I like which are vocally hated on /co/ likeLumberjanesandSquirrel Girlcan lead to nice discussions or even folks liking it who didn't expect to. I can even enjoy talking to people who don't like what I like if that have something to say other than "It's shit".
