the silly humour of the comics so far is just enough to keep me satisfied, but im really hoping it starts taking the same turn the show did and start its world building some more, and either continue the arc that was dropped when the show was cancelled or bring in a new arc at some point. need to know whats going on with the resisty and zims incompetence and the irkins conquest for snacks

I really do feel like it will. It kinda feels like its just returning to form, but there's tidbits here and there of setting up something I feel like.

Eh, felt like a typical Invader Zim story. At least stuff's still being made for the franchise I guess.
Jhonen stated on his tumblr that all guess written issues like this one and the K.C Green one are non canon. So Dib really isn't allergic to fur.
Next issue should be great, apparently Zim gets sent to the alternate future and finds out he had taken over the earth. Then goes to war with himself when he finds out what an asshole ruler he's become.

So who wrote the story exactly? The humor was alright, but Zim really didn't feel like Zim. He was the only character the comic couldn't nail, which is a shame. Looking forward to the next issue though.
