https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kL6kGYT3b6AAnd if they are how about a MAP thread?
the hell is this, Watership Down but with cats?
>>84345269
that's pretty insulting to what Watership Down is
are MLPs /co/ ?
Like those homestuck videos?

mainly just referencing to how horrifyingly grim and gruesome the animated WD could be.
Also, does anyone know the name of that book that was pretty much Watership Down but with deer? That shit got hardcore. Had an evil deer that killed a human child or baby so he could eat its heart.

That's it. Read it in high school.

Me too I had a flashback when you described it, I remember reading Rangers too that shit was good old fashioned dialogue fantasy.

this is reminding me of other books I read in high school, whose titles I can't remember. I remember one about a guy in modern time, who falls through a portal into some strange, fantasy realm. ends up in a weird forest, meets a tribe of natives, lives with them, only for them to get taken as slaves by a Roman Empire-esque civilization. Earns his freedom, gets a hot, Roman-esque waifu, and eventually has to fight the antagonist of the book, who turns out to be from the modern world as well. Ends up falling into a portal back to his time, and lands in a shopping mall fountain. Book ends years later with him as a doctor, and some of his colleagues talking about going camping in the same area he found the portal end. My summary kind of sucks, but it was a pretty good book.

Sounds like Pendragon or His Dark Materials. Man reading was all I did as a kid I read all the fantasy stuff I could in the library, did you ever read Monster or Gills All Fright Diner?
>>84345730
It wasn't either of those. At least not if by Pendragon you mean https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pendragon:_Journal_of_an_Adventure_through_Time_and_Space
And I don't think I've read those. The names aren't familiar.

I was an AP lit kid. I'm so glad I did it now, I learned so much more and am educated higher in literature than the average pleb. I was a /lit/izen in training since 9th grade, feels fucking good.

I was never in any advanced lit classes or anything in school. I just really liked reading. Probably because we had a whole lot of picture books and stuff when I was little. Sesame Street, Disney, assorted other books. I think there was a line of books that was supposed to be like Sesame Street, but wasn't based off a tv show or cartoon. Something with Pickle in the name, maybe? Anyway, I just grew up liking to read. Got in trouble a lot later in school, since I'd prefer to read in class rather than pay attention.

Haha, sorry man.
