How come they were able to show guns on kid shows like this, but networks and blocks like Fox and Toonami censored stuff?
Context. If it's a silly, unrealistic cartoon, it's not as big a deal, like Elmer Fudd. If it's something more serious and realistic it's more violent.
It's like how watching Wile E. Coyote fall off a cliff is funny but if a character in a serious show like Batman:TAS falls off a cliff it's dark.

Yeah, that makes sense actually.

The only guns that get censored are modern guns, a show like BTAS was able to get away with guns because they used older styles although in some syndication runs they edit out the sound effects of the shot.

Wasn't Fuzzy Lumpkins's shotgun a laser rifle somehow?
I haven't seen him in anything since I was a kid but I remember it shooting lasers.

Who cares?

Nah, it was a bullet-firing gun.

>a teenager being held at gunpoint by hired thugs over a trading card game is serious and realistic
No I think 4kids is just retarded.

Why do they always use that kind of trumpet shotgun? Is it effective in real life?

It was a meat gun that turned things into meat
Most real guns aren't pink.
