So who did you think shot Burns?
>>84314636
Waylon Smithers
I thought Homer did it because I thought Mr. Burns said "Who are you" in the alley.
The baby!
Then they found out it was the baby.
Maybe it was youuuuuu
>>84314895
It turns out, it was/tv/
Mrs. Cartman.
>>84314636
The 1991 Denver Broncos?
Clearly it was Matt Groening
>>84314939
Awww, the Denver Broncos?
>>84314636
>>84314939
No it wasMr Hat
I can't recall who I had pegged as the culprit.
But what I really want to know is; why the fuck does every airing of the episode omit the part where Homer and the townspeople tip the sun blocking dish onto Shelbyville? I swear to Christ it only ever appeared in the original showing and not once after. Why? Was some shitty redneck fucktown actually crushed by a satellite once and got uppity over it?
>>84315497
9/11 changed everything anon, it changed EVERYTHING
>>84315543
It had nothing to do with that episode though, given there's no possible way to relate an improbable thing like a town being crushed under a giant saucer to planes crashing. Besides, "Who shot Mr. Burns?" was long before that. So why is the scene missing?
>>84314819
>"Oh it's you. What are you so happy about?"
>>84314636
Marge.
She was the only one onscreen when Burns was shot making her the only one not a suspect.
(hence why I thought it would be a neat twist)
Everyone guessed Maggie.
>>84315497
That's a deleted scene that they showed during the 138th episode special.
>>84315497
>But what I really want to know is; why the fuck does every airing of the episode omit the part where Homer and the townspeople tip the sun blocking dish onto Shelbyville? Lots of older Simpsons reruns see the little one off gags get cut. Not because they're offensive, but just because they're cut for time or the folks just decided that they didn't really care for it in the context of the episode.
>>84315497
>But what I really want to know isWhere's the caveman?
>>84314636
>>84315497
Probably cut for time for syndication broadcasts, it's pretty common, not really malicious
>>84314636
Lee Harvey Oswald did it because he wanted to steal the Jack Ruby
>>84317206
But the context was pretty important since it directly the bit where Lenny and the guys appear to ask Homer in helping remove the dish.
>>84315677
I thought he said "Who are you? What are you so happy about?"
>>84317776
No it was "Oh it's you"
>>84317763
Sometimes you just got to cut stuff to fit in one more commercial.
One of the twins.
A monkey.
>>84315543
The episode predates that.
I do wish we could get the various deleted scenes from assorted movies and TV shows though only ones I know of being released are the friends ones
>>84317068
That would explain it then not auctualy in the original airing at all
>>84314636
i couldnt possibly solve that mystery.
could you?
>>84314636
One of Scorpio's assassins. Homer was bailed out in the end because they're buddies.
>>84315497
In German television it is still in the regular episode.
I remember a dream I had all those years ago. I dreamt that a huge gorilla attacked Mr. Burns. For the entire episode it chased Burns, breaking everything in its way, looking like something out of an old black and white monster movie, and then the gorilla wrestled Burns' gun away from him and accidentally pulled the trigger.
To this fucking day, I wonder what the hell my subconscious was trying to tell me.
>>84323022
Made me giggle IRL
>>84322926
Nah it's on the DVD in the regular episode as well.
>>84322965
Yeah I'll give it a shot
I mean it's my job, right?
>>84314636
>Maggie is the only one who doesn't look away.
>>84323395
>give it a shot
>shot
Chief Wiggum did it, confirmed.
>>84314787
I figured he'd get away with it. I also thought it would be the old bearded man dude.
>>84323022
That a gorilla shot Mr. Burns, duh.
Oh, and nobody at the time guessed Maggie. I entered that stupid contest and got the letter that nobody guessed right so they had to randomly give away the prize.
>>84323885
>smithers already looking away
>>84323885
That's good foreshadowing.
It was obviously Marge. If we freeze on frame 138, we distinctly see a puff of blue hair coming from the grassy knoll.
>>84314636
>asking a questin that's been answered for YEARS?
Tell me, how does it feel like to have a negative number for an I.Q.?
>>84322982
So is in the latin-spanish version.
>>84323924
>nobody guessed right so they had to randomly give away the prize.
I guess that means they really made the perfect twist if nobody guessed it.
Tu gfa.
>>84322982
Jup, but that's because the foreign versions aren't usually cut for sindication as the American ones are.
>>84314636
Zimmerman
They never explained how Tito Puente couldn't have done it. I bet he framed Maggie.
>>84317068
nope, it was part of the original episode
>>84322982
dutch version too
Hell in Family Guy we still get the Osama Bin Laden at the airport joke
>>84314636
At least Family Guy committed to a character being a killer.
>>84314648
Ofcourse! it all makes sense, burns died on the sunclock as a last gift to let us know that Dio's stand posseses the power to stop time!
>>84314636
at some point Flanders just snapped
>>84317806
I thought he said "Who are you?"
