Best Post-Claremont X-Runs.
Rank em. What'd I forget? Let's have a X-Thread
Morrison's
Whedon's
Remender's X-Force, mainly Dark Archangel
X-Statix
Carey's X-Men
????
tfw X-Anon is enjoying his life instead of posting storytimes
His project was huge, but it would have been nice to reach Inferno.
I like Claremont, Morrison, Gillen and PAD X-Factor most.

Morrison's
Whedon's
Remender's X-Force, mainly Dark Archangel
Academy X/New X-men
Gillen
X-Statix
whole lotta blah stuff
wet dog shit
Bendis and Austen
There hasn't been a good X-team book since Gillen left after AVX.
Bendis went full Bendis and Perlmutter is actively trying to kill the franchise
Bunn's Uncanny is the best X-book by default nowadays
>>84264786
I like Bunn's Uncanny. It is the only current X Men book I like, although I also like Uncanny Avengers, which is half an X-Men book, and should have a story arc about the muties of the team and the terrigen mist after the Pym arc.
Why do the people of CBR hate Fantomex a lot? as in, 7 out of 10 would kill him if they could kill a character.
Is it because he shot the Apocalypse kid?
Everybody agrees inverted Havok is responsible for the bad thing that happened with Cyclops Marvel hasnt told us about yet.
Also, I think M will fuse with her brother Emplate, and fuck Sabretooth because his healing powers will allow her to feed from his marrow bone with no problems since it always grows back.
Thoughts on Excalibur and Alpha Flight?
>>84264632
anything by Spurrier
>>84264846
cause Fantomex doesn't make ANY sense
Is Generation X actually good? I heard teen school X-Men stories which I like, but Lobdell y'all.
and I don't think Extraordinary X-Men is that bad but it certainly isn't good.
>>84264786
I forgot Gillen's run started with Scott talking about how they were gonna remind everyone the X-Men are Earth's Mightiest Heroes and I was so pissed at all the lost opportunity.
>>84264780
i'm betting secret wars 2 broke him.
>>84266881
i knew there was a Cable run some /co/mrades really like but I couldn't remember who did it.
X-Men Legacy Vol 2
>>84266929
There are 2
Ladronn and Kordey Cables
>>84264780
What happened to X-Anon exactly? I was enjoying those (ambitious) threads.
>>84267754
new xmen ruined kordey for me srry m8
>>84267854
ruined him too with those deadlines, it is good stuff
>>84266677
Generation x is probably the best thing lob Dell has done. The first arc anyway
My Post-Claremont runs ranked:
1) Morrison
2) Gillen
3) Spurrier
4) Lobdell (just up to AoA)
5) Milligan
6) Joe Kelly/Steven S. Seagle/X-Editorial
Didn't care for Whedon's X stories.
>>84267919
There's just too much Land and crossover for me to get into Gillen's
X-Statix > Morrison's New X-Men by a wide margin to be honest
>>84266677
The early issues of GenX are quite good, but then it starts to get dragged into crossovers, etc. and gets kinda bad until it gets good again near the end of the book.
>>84268092
It is more consistent overall for sure but the parts of New X-Men that I like I like a bunch more than X-Statix
Spurrier must be the most overrated X-men writer in a little while.
>>84264786
We got Spurrier's X-Men Legacy and (to a lesser extent) his X-Force.
And that young Cyclops book was pretty good when Rucka was writing.
Otherwise, yeah, the X-Men has been pure shit.
Schism started us down this path, and that shit was FIVE YEARS AGO.
>>84268179
It's not like it was that good after House of M/Decimation. You had one or two okay books and the rest was shit back then too.
>>84264632
1. Morrison
2. Carey
3. Whedon
4. Casey
5. Kyle + Yost
6. Remender
7. Fraction (I know I'll get shit for this one, but I liked that era a lot)
8. Claremont's X-Treme run (Does that count? It's sort of a post Claremont run, even though it's still Claremont)
