I want a good comic to read, that has some back issues to read. Good art, a must, maybe dark, maybe action, well written
That also has an attractive female lead.
Any suggestions? Can the two be combined?
The new52 batwoman run was good, had fantastic art. Not many back issues though so doesn't hit all your marks but I'd still give it a shot

Brubaker's Catwoman at least until you hit the War Games crossovers at the end if the run where Palmiotti did the pencils and it looks like garbage.
Lazarus.
Jennifer Blood.
Velvet.
Judge Anderson: Psi Division.
Brian K Vaughan's Mystique run.
Vision
never heard of some of these....
good, good...
Finally something new! Keep em coming!

Team books:
Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel is central to Roger Stern's 80's Avenger's run. It is good stuff.
Clairmont's X-men is slopping over with strong female characters.
I love how comic recs have more posts on /co/ than /wsr/.
Anyway:
- Uncanny X-Force
- X-23 solo series (if you haven't read them already)
- Gotham City Sirens
- Hack/Slash
- Executive Assistant Iris
- Witchblade (Marz's run)
- Ghost
- Lady Mechanika
- Madame Mirage
The last two are a bit on the short side though, if that really minds you.

>Lady Mechanika
I want to read this so badly but I can't find it anywhere in my city.
I'll add Monstress to this, it's a matriarchal society but it's not pushed into your face, there is no feminist stuff in it, it just happens to be matriarchal. Great art and great action

If we are including manga, I'll add Young Bride's Story.
A lovingly drawn book about 19th century wedding traditions of the Central Asian peoples.
Heart-warming SoL and fabric porn galore. The female more-or-less main is a rough-and-tumble steppe nomad who gets married into some /ss/.
