ITT: anons ask where to begin with a character
>never read a Batwoman story
>seems cool as fuck in other stories
>absolutely love all art of her
What are seen as her best stories, or at least the best to start with? from what I've read there's just Elegy and the New 52 run. are those good?
There's some autistic guy who storytimes her whenever she gets mentioned on this board, so just hang around.

Well it's pretty much just Elegy and that's it. It's certainly no masterpiece, but the art is simply gorgeous.

Rucka's run.
52 (which anyone interested in DC should read anyway), Elegy, Rucka's Detective Comics, New 52 Batwoman. That's basically everything there is.

Elegy and New 52 Batwoman until the new writer comes on
Mildly related
I keep meaning to start reading DC, but never do. I think I have a problem.

is there a recommended list for the flash? I only have flashpoint in my collection but I'm more of a fan of wally than barry

this. Flashpoint and rebirth are great, but what are Wally's best stories?
Anybody have a reading list for Dr. Fate and The Spectre? Picked up Countdown to Mystery the other day

All of them. Download Flash volume 2.
First 60 or so issues are just all right, but then Mark Waid takes over and it's amazing. Then it's Geoff Johns, who is also really great. Really fun run, strongly recommend.

There are three big runs that everyone says to read, Waid, Morrison/Miller, and Johns

Has anyone put together an ultimate Hellboy torrent yet? I know there's the Mega with everything in chronological order, but I'd like to read it in release order first.

Basically what he >>84243630 said, but I'd stop at issue 225, which is where Johns' run ends, because everything afterwards is a stinking pile of poopoo.

I don't necessarily disagree about post-225 stuff, but if you've read issues #1-225, you might as well knock out the final 22 issues to complete the volume.
