After a dinner scene where the queen, her dogs, and some of the servants drink the BFG's green stuff and fart like wind blowers, the Queen commands the army to follow the giant to Giant Land, the Giant cooks up a nightmare and it spooks 8 of the 9 giants who were asleep. Then they all get roped up by nets, squirm around and try fleeing but all are eventually captured, and carried to a remote island to live where they are given only vegetables to eat.
Nothing more than that, they sit in wait and net them all like fish.

I never read the book or saw the cartoon, but I'm betting it's better than what I watched.
It was at a drive-in, so I can't say anything about how pretty the graphics looked, but it didn't look bad, nothing breathtaking though.
If they kept out the farting stuff I might've liked it more, because everything else was alright, the dream catching and hiding from the giants. At that point it just seemed like Alvin and the Chipmunk's tier of humor when they were getting royalty to assblast themselves.

I forgot to add, this eating scene went on forever. A solid 10 minutes at least I'd say, maybe 15 but I wasn't keeping track. Probably an entire chapter if it was on a DVD.
He crawls into the dining room, wrecks a chandelier, sits and they prepare breakfast. He eats stuff, says it's scrumpdilicious, she asks why he talks like that, kid says whatever. He drinks coffee, spits it out on 3 guys, says it was nasty as hell. Kid pushes away breakfast goes straight for desert. BFG pulls out the shitter-drink and says it's good stuff, brings music to the ears. Queen asks why the bubbles go down, ours go up. Musicians come in with bagpipes and they play that. Then they talk about where the Giant Island is, they bring a huge map and he points it out off the charted area. They talk a bit more about the action, then have a toast to the drink. They look surprised for half a minute, then they all fart in order. Servants blast off, queen blows the sheets up on the table she's sitting at, and the 3 dogs fart off out of the room. Then she looks surprised and says they're off to Giant Land.
It took for-fucking-ever, and I wished they could have kept that out, maybe put in more giants fighting near the end or something.

I'd probably appreciate the scenes more if I read the book, but I thought the one scene was too long and took too much focus away from the "hunt the giants and take them out and away" that they discussed just a few moments ago.
